Dawn's POV

A sword swung from behind the Empousa and bit through it's neck. It disintegrated with a wail.
In it's place stood a girl with blond hair. She was wearing a shirt with a symbol on it and underneath it said, Don't fight your own battles.
She stared at Matthew, who did a double take and glared at her. "Who are you?"
She answered by raising her right hand and sticking two fingers in the air. Wasn't that a gang signal? No. It meant something...peace?
She ran around the corner and Matthew followed.

Matthew's POV

She threw down a coin and jumped through the ripples that came when the coin hit the wall.
I saw a rainbow flit through-Iris? I jumped through after her and found myself-
