The Heroes of The Camps
This Isn't What I Bargained For.
Storm dragged me to the mess hall, and though I loved talking and eating with my cabin mates, I just wasn't feeling up to it today. I picked at my food, pushing it around on my plate when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey." Storm sat down next to me.
"You shouldn't be sitting here, you know. It's against the rules." I hissed.
"Screw the rules. No-one obeys them anyways," She said, gesturing to the Aphrodite table, which was basically one huge disgusting boyfriend girlfriend speed dating program.
"Eww." I wrinkled my nose and looked away from the cake faced perfume drenched teenagers and turned my attention back onto my plate.
"You're really worried about her, aren't you?" Storm asked, a sympathetic smile on my face. Before I could answer, the doors to the mess hall flew open and a furious Adrian walked in, grey eyes flashing. I stood up so fast that my chair toppled over and grabbed him by the arm.
"Did you find anything?" I asked.
He paused and looked back through the doors. "I found people, but not her." He glared at his feet.
"What?" I stared at him with confusion.
"This feels like oone huge cosmic joke on me." He sighed and shrugged me off, walking away towards the Big House. I watched him go, my heart slowly sinking down farther into my stomach with every miserable step he took.
Notes
I can't apologize more for taking so long to write this but I've just been so busy with work and everything. I had a free block today and I actually didn't have any homework today so I wrote this and I'm posting it now, even though my teacher would kill me if she realized what I'm doing.Oh well.
Sorry again...:)
