I am assuming that because there are writers on this site, there are people among these writers that may potentially want to write as their actual occupation when they grow up(!!!!)! If that makes sense.
SO- if you have A LOT OF FREE TIME THIS NOVEMBER, or if you've EVER HAD A NOVEL IDEA THAT YOU THOUGHT WAS ABSOLUTELY MIND-BLOWING but you never had the time to finish it, or if you JUST NEED TO GET YOUR IDEAS DOWN ON PAPER, and you LOVE TO WRITE-

You have no idea how much this website has helped me.

The idea is: you write a novel. A whole novel.

In a month.

One month.

Yes. It seems quite impossible. And it's really hard. And it's tough. And it's a ton of work. And you get a huge lack of sleep and you get really cranky and people think that you're a huge pain in the podex sometimes.

But it's so worth it. this website will send you emails and motivational speeches and gives you a whole community of authors to help you challenge yourself and all these wonderful success stories and it seems like it would never work but IT DOES and even if it DOESN'T WORK ALL THE WAY you still have a HUUUUUGE chunk of your book down on paper and even that is so immensely helpful for you in the future.

And it's JUST. FOR. NOVEMBER.

THIS WHOLE NANOWRIMO WEBSITE WRITING MARATHON THAT PEOPLE ACROSS THE GLOBE DO?

ONLY FOR NOVEMBER.

And I am so sorry for forgetting to put this up earlier, but if you do want to do this novel thing in November, you have to start planning NOW.

Because if there's anything I've learned from NaNoWriMo, it's this-

1) planning is key. plan out an outline of your book, your plot, your characters, scene ideas? You've got at least ten percent of your novel down already, and if you add even more details to your outline and outline all the scenes your chapters as well, that can shoot you up to a good 25-30 (or even FORTY) %.

2) just. get. your ideas. down. As terrible as it seems, and as HURTFUL AS IT SOUNDS, and as PAINFUL AS IT LOOKS, if you are one of those people that have never ever ever been able to finish a book and have tried many times, you have to ACCEPT that quality of your book is NOT going to be good. You CAN'T LET the quality of your novel be good. Because if you get bored of the story because you're nitpicking every single detail and editing and deleting chapters all day, you are never, ever going to get it done.
And you will especially not get it done in a month.
You just have to write. You look at your outline, check off the points of the story that you've written, and you write as much as you can (as fast as you can) {as hard as you can} in twenty minutes, an hour, three hours. And you can't edit anything out. You can't go back. You have to just keep going.

And if you do,

you will finish.

it will be a piece of garbage, but you'll finish.

And THEN, once you finish, you can take a nice break, relax, and later begin to edit it down to a much better, nicer, cleaner masterpiece.

And NaNoWriMo can explain that all to you and help you do that.

It helped me.

So this November. You can try it, if you want. Don't if you don't. You don't even have to write it this year! You can wait till next year! I didn't finish my first novel until my third year on the site!

And again, it's just a suggestion. You can completely disregard this post. I just wanted to give everyone an awareness that this amazing thing ACTUALLY EXISTS, so that people who are super involved in writing and want to take the opportunity will be able to take it.

SO BACK TO THE STORY- I'M SO SORRY GUYS, I REALLY NEED TO FINISH THE REBIRTH BEFORE THE END OF OCTOBER SO THE CHAPTERS ARE GOING TO BE A LOT SHORTER AND BE UPDATED A LOT MORE AND KIND OF SPONTANEOUSLY SO I CAN GET IT ALL DONE HOPEFULLY THE QUALITY OF THE WRITING WON'T BE TOO BAD I KEEP RECHECKING IT TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT IT'S NOT

I KNOW THE IDEAS I HAVE FOR THE LAST CHAPTER, AND I'M KIND OF EXCITED ABOUT IT, SO AT LEAST THE CONTENT OF THE LAST CHAPTER MIGHT BE GOOD:)))

BY OCTOBER 31ST I KID YOU NOT IT WILL BE DONE:) PROMISE. AN OATH TO KEEP WITH A FINAL BREATH. LET'S DO THIS.



oh. And this is because of Nanowrimo, the thing I've talked about above. I won't be posting any fanfic during the month of November, simply because I need to focus all my time and energy on my novel, but maybe maybe maybe I can slip in some very short one-shots of Solangelo or Percabeth as warm ups :) love you all
