Stacey Pendragon-daughter of the sea

STACEY POV

I slammed the door shut behind me and stormed to my bed. This was ridiculous! I did not know how I killed that giant without a god, and now everybody was avoiding me like I was a freak, even Percy. I really didn't know how I killed him, but nobody believed me.

I walked to the window overlooking the sea and sat down on it. All of a sudden, I got up and kicked the wall real hard and ended up clutching my keg and howling in pain. "Ow!", I howled, dancing around the cabin. After a minute, the pain receded and I sat down on the bed.

What was I going to do, when nobody even believed me. " Mom, come back ", I moaned and put my head in my hands. I knew it was stupid, but at difficult times like these, I often took my sword in my hand. It made me feel as though I could feel a connection to my Mom. I took it in my hand, when I heard the door creak open. I threw the covers over my head and closed my eyes tightly.

I heard Percy come over to my bed. He asked, " Stacey, you awake?" When I didn't reply, he continued, "Look, I am really sorry for what I did. What you did... It scared me. Please don't be angry with me", with that, he went away. His bed creaked under his bed, and after sometime his snores filled the room, and I too fell asleep, feeling even worse.

In my dream, I was standing in the middle of a huge, dark room with spirits roaming around me, muttering agitatedly. Where was I? I then heard a voice which chilled me.

Stacey, Stacey! Finally, you did arrive. I was waiting for you!
"Titania, what do you want?" I demanded, my voice shaking a little. I want you with me, for my little resurrection party! You see, it is really inconvenient staying in spirit form, so I want you to be here.

"I won't let that happen!" I shouted, shocked. This couldn't happen. If Titania got a physical form, it would be really bad news. I'm waiting, with those words, the entire place melted away and I suddenly got up, sweating.

No, no. This couldn't be happening. Chiron had warned me that thus would happen on this very day, but I had kept on hoping that it wouldn't. I made a quick decision and woke up Percy.

"Percy, get up!" I whispered loudly, shaking him. He didn't even budge, so I shouted loudly in his ear. He shot up in the air and looked around in shock, when his eyes landed on me and he scowled.

"What was that for?" He asked, and I replied, "Percy, Titania. She... Sent me a dream message. She's getting physical form today, now. Its 22nd December".

" What!" He immediately woke up and stared at me in shock. "But what is so..." He started when a loud rapping sound on the door interrupted him. We both looked towards the door, alarmed at who would come to the cabin at this time of the night. The knocking continued, so I got up and opened it.

Standing outside was Nico, looking wide eyed. "Nico, what...", I said, startled at seeing him here. " Can I come in?" He asked, I nodded and moved aside to let him enter.

"Nico?" Percy asked him, and Nico nodded at him and said, "I have to tell you all something".

" Speak up", i replied and he said,

"I had dream. Titania is there in the Underworld and I saw, even Stacey was there", and I stared at him and he continued, "Something was wrong there, so I had to warn you not to go there". I immediately stood up and said,

" I have to go there. To the new Underworld. There is no other option, I have to know what she is up to".

"Are you crazy? She wants you there, which means that something is fishy! If you go there you're just walking into her trap ", Percy said, standing up to.

" I have to be there!"

"No! She wants you there, which means you shouldn't be going, Stacey".

"I have to, Percy. Try to understand ".

" Why are you taking this thing about Titania so personally?" Percy asked me, and I replied,

"I can't tell you", and he said, "If you are going, I am coming to".

I was aghast! If he came with me, Titania could harm him, and that I not something I wanted.

" I'm coming too! You are going to my home turf" Nico called out from his place and I groaned in defeat. "Alright, let's go".

" But how?" Percy asked me.

"Shadow travel, how else?" I replied. "You mean, I've got to transport the both of you to the Underworld?" Nico asked and I said,

"Even I can shadow travel, dummy".
