STACEY POV

I dont believe this! The camp had seemed like a nice place. It even had a sword fighting arena. Cool! But the rudest shock was that Poseidon, the god of the seas was my father. A glowing, green trident had appeared over my head, showing that I was the daughter of Poseidon. The only daughter of Poseidon in history. Right now, I was walking towards cabin three with Annabeth. She kept looking nervously behind her to look at me, as though I was going to explode any minute now. We reached the cabin. Annabeth looked at me again "Why do you keep looking at me as though I am something dangerous?" I snaped at her, completely annoyed.

Its not just her, everyone was staring at me. She looked guiltily at me and said " You weren't supposed to be born. You remember me telling you about the Big Three pact? This means that Poseidon has broken the oath twice. You are very powerful. Im sorry if I have annoyed you." saying that she walked away, leaving me at the door. I took a deep breath and went inside. The cabin was facing towards the ocean, so anytime I could look out. It was decorated with sea horses. One of the beds was seriously messy. Percy's, I guess. I sat down on another bed and took in my surroundings, when the door suddenly opened, causing me to jump up. It was Percy.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you" he smiled. He hed messy black hair and sea-green eyes. His smile was mischievous. I reluctantly returned his smile. "I am sure your not liking the attention your getting. Don't worry, you'll get used to it. Even I had a tough time in the beginning, but then it stops and everything is normal" he says. I calmed down a little. "When did you come here? because you look like an old timer" I ask him. "I was 12 when they found me. You should have come here earlier." he answers. "Whats your age? 'coz you don't look 13".

"I'm 15, 16 in September" I said. "Oh" is all that he replied. He started cleaning up his bed, or you could say just dumping everything on the floor. I picked up everything and dumped it on another bed. "Are you excused by the harpies to litter the floor? coz I think they'll eat you, right?" I asked him. "You sure are a sarcastic sister" he joked. I punched him on the arm. " You better sleep. I'm supposed to train you. So you've got to get up quickly and Chiron wants to see you in the morning" saying that he jumped on his bed, and within a minute he was asleep. Even I climbed into bed and went to sleep, knowing tomorrow was going to be a busy day.

I quickly got up in the morning. I glanced at my watch. It was 7:45. "Shit" I muttered and quickly brushed my teeth with the toiletries Annabeth got me yesterday and put on a pair of jeans and an orange t-shirt lying next to my bed. I saw that Percy is still sleeping and its 7:55. "Percy, get up, get up, get up" I shouted in his ears, like how I used to wake my mother. My mother. No, no, forget her, I told myself. Percy got up, drooling. "What?" he asked. "Its 7:55, and we have to get to breakfast in five minutes" I told him.

"What!!" he shouted. In flat five minutes, he was ready. Or if you can call it ready. He was wearing his shirt upside down, in his right foot a different shoe, in his left another and his hair look as though a rat slept in it. I tryed not to laugh, but it was difficult.

"Whats funny?" Percy asked, looking confused. I managed to stammer out a "you" before helplessy dissolving into peals of laughter. The door banged open and Annabeth walked in. She took in the scene and started laughing with me.

He was looking ridiculous. Annabeth then got him ready and tried to comb his hair, but its impossible. Finally we got to the the dining pavilion, still laughing. Annabeth went to join her cabin mates. Percy and I sat down at the Poseidon table and again I had to endure stares from everyone. I groaned as I helped myself to blue pancakes. Percy noticed this and glared at a few of them. They turned their gaze away. "Thanks" I whispered at him. He just grinned at me.

Chiron trotted over to us and asked us why we were late. I pointed towards Percy and he pointed towards me. I gave him a long, dangerous stare but he didnt bother about it.

Chiron noticed this and assigned us both to kitchen patrol. On the way to the kitchens, "My first day is going of to a solid start all because of you, Percy. Thank you so much" I said with a touch of sarcasm. "Hey! I thought he would go easy on you because your new, but looks like he found out" he protested. We enter the kitchens and to my horror, we have to wash the plates with lava. Seriously?

After two hours of washing, Percy and I came out, completely tired. "Want to go to the canoe lake for a swim? because I could really use a dip" Percy asked me. I nodded my head. As I was walking towards the cabin to change, Chiron called me. I went immediately because I don't want KP again. He smiled at me and asked, "I hope you are liking it here."

"well, so far I have only been to the kitchens and I didn't like it", I answered. Percy kicked me but I didn't respond. Chiron looked surprised but didnt say anything. He pulled out a sea shell shaped pendant from his pocket and gave it to me. I looked at it. It had a trident on it.

"what am I supposed to do with it?".

"This is your weapon". he answered. I looked at him as though he had gone crazy. "Open it", he said. I openef it and suddenly a sword appeared in my hand. It seemed to be glowing in different colors like a kaleidoscope.

"Wow" was all that I could say. "Thanks, Chiron" I said after a while. "No, it is not from me. It is from your father. Its name is Typhona, which means hurricane." he said. "Now you can go" he said and dismissedus. I wore it around my neck and ran to the cabin and put on a swimsuit. We both jumped in the lake and swam around for a long time when I saw somebody's feet in the water.

I peer and saw the son of Hades, Nico, keeping his feet in the water. A wicked idea formed in my mind and I motioned for Percy to come.

NICO POV

I was at the sword fighting arena the whole morning, practicing. After I finished, I decided to go to the canoe lake and relax. I took out my boots and folded up my jeans and put them in the water, shaking then like a small kid.

It reminded me of the time Bianca and I had gone to the beach and played for the whole day. I could feel tears threatening to drop. I wiped my tears when something grabbed my legs in the water. I thrashed about but it didnt let go. I started screaming and Annabeth came running over to me. "Nico, what happened?"

"Something has grabbed my legs!" I screamed. Annabeth caught my legs and we both started pulling. Then the thing suddenly let go of my legs and both Annabeth and I went tumbling behind.

Then two heads came out of the water, laughing hysterically. One was Percy and the other was the new girl, Stacey. They both were clutching each other and laughing till tears ran out of their eyes. Annabeth groaned next to me and said "no, not two Percy's" and face palmed.

Stacey had stopped laughing and was looking at me. I hoped I wasn't blushing. She was really beautiful with black hair and changing eyes. Percy too stopped laughing and was smirking at me. I quickly looked away. "Why did you have to do that?" Annabeth sternly asked both of them. "I couldn't help it. It was a golden chance. But I'm really sorry" Stacey said. "You both had better come out or else I'm going to Chiron. NOW!" Annabeth commanded. "Help us out, right?" Percy said. He offered his hand to Annabeth and Stacey gave her hand to me.

I held her hand was about to pull her when she pulled me in the water and I went into the water along with Annabeth. They both had pulled us in the water. Note to self: never give your hand to a girl in the water no matter how beautiful.

Especially if she is a daughter of Poseidon.

I LAUGHED MYSELF SILLY DURING THIS CHAPTER. HE, HE, HE
