STACEY POV

It's 1 week since I came to camp. And I am enjoying it like anything. Oh, you must be wondering about what happened after Percy and I pulled Nico and Annabeth in the lake, right?

Well, both of them went to Chiron and Percy and I were punished with three days of KP and stable duty. But it was worth it. We were also supposed to apologize to them. Nico was okay with it, but Annabeth was not.

She did not speak to us for two days. Percy was always cornering her, trying to apologize with his baby seal eyes but it was useless. He would try so hard, bulging his eyes looking more stupid than cute, causing Nico and me to laugh.

Yep, Nico and me are friends. But not what your thinking, alright? We are just just friends. Talking of friends, Annabeth wanted to introduce me to another daughter of Athena who would be coming today for the summer.

Wewere standing near Thalia's pine tree, waiting for the girl. "You'll really like her. She is your type" Annabeth told me. I don't think so, I told myself. Nobody can take Sam's place in my heart. We were best friends from 9 years! I was getting impatient. Why doesn't this person come quickly?

"There she is. Sam is coming" Annabeth shouted. Sam? I looked and see who else but Sam!! She is a demigod? Why didn't she tell me? I ran towards her, shouting "SAM, SAM!" she saw me and her eyes widened in shock. Then even she was shouting and we hugged each other. She was practically squashing me.

After we untangled ourselves, we walked back to Annabeth, who was standing with a shocked expression on her face. "You know each other?" she asked after a full 5 minutes.

"From 9 years, we are best friends" Sam answered. Annabeth just shook her head, obviously dazed. Sam then hugged her and we went to camp. Now camp got even better. My best friend was also a demigod! How much cool could things get? I just hoped thing would be just llike this. But as usual, things had to mess up just then.
