The Half-Blood Academy

Hi. Annabeth here. So it was a sunny wintry day at Half-Blood Academy...

"Hey, watch out!" Thalia yelled. Luke had thrown a snowball at me. She quickly deflected the throw with her aegis shield, and ran after Luke to kick him. I sat down on a mound of snow, and took out my book about Greek architecture. Luke ran back, and sat down next to me. "Whatcha doing, my wise little owl?" He playfully stole my book and ran around with it, taunting me. I just sighed, and took out another book. I was going to let Thalia deal with him. Luke came back over and tugged at my hair. I pushed him away. I wasn't going to let him steal this one too. "Stop it!" I shouted, annoyed. "Jeez, sorry." Luke returned my book. "You're no fun."

What? So he thought I wasn't fun? Oh, really? Well, it was on! I got a mound of snow and shaped it in the way that would improve my accuracy the most. "Well, here's fun!" I shouted at him, and threw the snowball. Me and Thalia quickly created a larger mound and hid behind it. "Okay, so here's the plan." I whispered to Thalia. "So, you fly up with the winds, or whatever, as a decoy, and I use my magic cap to go behind him, and hit him with the snowballs. Okay, go." I put on my cap."Fly!" I hissed at her. Thalia turned green. "Um, there's something I need to tell you."

"What?!?!" I whispered as loudly as I could. "So, YOU'RE AFRAID OF HEIGHTS?!?!" Thalia nodded. "Yes, that's what I said. You are the only person who knows, beside the whole world who just heard you screaming to everyone."
"Oops, sorry." I whispered. "So then, you just jump out instead." Thalia nodded. "Okay."
I put on my magic cap and ran behind Luke. I saw him aiming at Thalia, only to have been pushed by me, and pelted with snowballs. "Ha ha ha! In your face." I went back into the building, and was retreating to the dormitories, when Principal Chiron stepped in my way. "Annabeth Chase, there's a new kid, and I would like you to meet him. His name is Percy Jackson."

Sorry. I kinda* left it at a cliffhanger. But tune in later for the next chapter, when Annabeth actually MEETS Percy, not just HEARS about him. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! 'Tis the season to be jolly, Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!
