The Daughter of Hera (ON HOLD)

The Underworld's Pomegranates

I've dreamed before, but never like this.

I see a river of fire, and I feel heat all around me. The Underworld.
All along the river, I see the ghosts of people being tortured. Over and over and over again. Some dark spirits move to the fire water, and pour it into the tortured mouths. They scream and convulse in pain, then it stops. The spirits continue beating them. I can't stand to watch.

Over the bank of the river, there is a large field. I see more ghosts wandering through the tall grass, muttering nonsense under their breath. I see a Spanish conquistador, a Roman in a toga, and countless kids. The Fields of Asphodel.

Beyond that, I see a small palace of sorts. I try to see in, but I can't move in my dream. But I can hear them. They're laughing, splashing in water, enjoying being dead. I guess that would be Elysium.

Suddenly I get whipped through the air towards a palace made of black stone. The wall comes closer and closer, faster and faster. I think I'm about to slam into it when I glide straight through, this being a dream and all. "ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I hear someone with a deep voice yell. "HERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yells another, with a shrill, high voice. "I will get you for this!" I glide through another wall, and see a man and woman pacing back and forth in front of thrones. Hades and.... Pomegranate? No, Persephone. That's another story.
"How could she do this? It's against all laws!" "I do not know, my love," says Hades. How in the world can Hades say love? "Shut up! I need to think." She backhands him across his cheek, and continues pacing. She turns and looks straight at me. "You." Her eyes turn the color of fire, and she runs towards me and tears through my dream.

With all the other stories once or twice a week is just fine thanks homer

@Jayden Son of Poseidon

I'll be trying my best to update it once or twice a week, as school and other obligations sometimes slow the writing process.
And I'm so glad you like it! Such positive feedback keeps me encouraged to keep going.
