The Alpha - Prestory

I’m going to let my cousin Alyssa tell you the next part…

Hey everyone, I’m Alyssa but you can call me Lyss. This happened when I was almost 16, Indy was also 16 and Em was 15. We were scouting the Acropolis. There had been unusual monster activity there and Indy wanted to check it out. There we spotted giants. Emma and I were about to rush into battle when Indy held out her arm.
“No, don’t interfere, it’s the prophecy of seven, let fates work their magic,” She whispered “We’ll be able to fight later but now, let them do the work, we’ll see something later. Just watch the battle,” It really pinged me off that she wouldn’t let us fight monsters. She normally jumps straight into battle. After the demigods (I hoped they were anyway) left the Acropolis, Indy, Em and I went back to Camp Zeus.
“Tell Peter to meet me in my room in about two hours or so you need to be there too,” Indy said before disappearing into the library. There was no getting her out of there until she had finished what she had set to do.

We waited an extra three hours. Every time we passed the library we could hear Indy talking to someone. Probably an Iris Message. She finally came out of there at about 5:30 that night.
“Where’s Peter?” She asked “I asked you guys to find him,”
“I’m here, Indy,” Peter replied “Get yourself some coffee,”
“That will keep me up on the plane, and planes are the most uncomfortable places to sleep. Plus I don’t need anything more to make me jumpy,” She said “Em, Lyss, we’re going to America. For a recon mission, It might take I don’t know five years maybe more. You remember those demigods we saw this morning? well those guys are from Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter. We’re not going to Camp Jupiter, we’ll be going to Camp Half Blood. Dad and Aunt Natalie said it was fine for us to go we do have five years of summer vacation to make up for, Peter because I’m going and so are Emma and Alyssa you will be in charge. I know you will do great, if I am to die, along with Emma and Alyssa, because you know that I would put them charge, I want you to become the Alpha, I’ll send weekly reports and I’ll do a monthly Iris MEssage,” We all nodded
“When do we leave?” Emma asked
“Tomorrow Morning, Peter, inform our troops,” Indy said.
So that’s how we decided to come to America.
