The Parentals and Aunt
I have a mum, a dad and an aunt. My mum was Ivy Wood. Notice the was? That’s because she died to cancer when I was three. I don’t need your sympathy, worst things have happened to me. She was married to my dad, Bruce. When my mum died, he moved himself and me to Athens for reasons unknown. Then my Aunt Natalie, Dad’s little sister, and her two daughters, Alyssa and Emma came to live with us. There they set up a tour company which would eventually become my work.
And then there’s my other parents. Poseidon and Athena. If those names sound familiar, it’s because they probably are. It makes me a demigod. The child of two actually. My mum had an affair with Poseidon. Because my dad helped create some of the apple products and he was married, Athena blessed Ivy with me. Little did Ivy and Bruce know was that each other had had an affair with a greek god. Dad always knew that I was a daughter of Athena and I’m pretty sure that Ivy did know that I was a daughter of Poseidon. Being the child of two does have its disadvantages. If you see it, well I hope you can choose between dying and forgetting me forever.
