The light in our sky

Wow! I wasn't really thinking when I did that.- I thought to myself. But the point is: when it comes to Percy I don't really think. Basically I invited him to go to the fireworks with me. But hey! It was for a good reason. He would never ask by himself!

Anyway, I decided to wear grey jeans and a green shirt, with my all star. It wasn't my usual camp t.shirt but kinda casual and simple. (http://www.polyvore.com/untitled/set?id=138844518).
I was sitting on my bed, reading, and pretending I was normal, which was not true, when I heard a toc toc on the door. I went open it.

- Hi wise girl! - Percy said, a bit nervous. But then he looked at me and his expression changed, like he was surprised for see me wearing normal clothes.

- You look beautiful! - He said after a few seconds looking at me. My face probably became red.

-You, don't look bad too seaweed brain. - I said a little embarrassed. This was not normal for me! Well, it was true. he was looking good too. He was wearing jeans, a black shirt and all star too.

- I think we should go?- He asked, after like 5 seconds of silence, and I nodded.
He gave me his hand and we walked to the beach, where we would see the fireworks. I didn't say anything until we get there.

The beach was crowded with people from the camp, and lots of couples were on the sand holding hands. That seemed to bring us to reality because Percy dropped his hand from mine. We were both acting pretty nervous. Again: not normal.

- Hey! Let me show you something. - He whispered into my ear.

I hope he couldn't see my face right now.

- What? - I asked trying to sound normal.

- You're gonna have to follow me - He said.

-So.. Thanks?

- For what Seaweed brain?

- For kinda invite yourself to go with me??

- Ohh

- It's like.. I was going to ask you, but I ... had no courage

- Is there anything you can do without me seaweed brain? - I asked breaking the awkward moment.

Then he stopped

- why do you stopped? - I asked again.

- It's here!

- What's here?

- The place I wanted to show you!

I looked around. We were in the middle of some rocks, with a perfect view to the ocean (by the way, where you could see perfectly the fireworks). The lights from the party were reaching the place. It was perfect for two people who don't want to be found

- So? Do you like it? I found this spot on the other day, and now I just thought you would like to be here with me to the fireworks?? I mean.. we can go back to the camp party.. - He started talking.

- It's Perfect!! - I said and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me, and pulled me closer.
After some time, he pulled apart:

- I think we should sit. the fireworks must be beginning.


We sat on a rock, a bit too close for just friends, but neither of us complained. It felt good. We were cuddled, with his arms around my waist. As he guessed, right after we sit, a wave of colours bursted into the sky.
We watched the show in silence. As always, it was beautiful.

- Do you liked? - Percy asked in the end.

- Obviouly. Is there a reason for not like it?

- You're right.

Thats when I really realized that we were alone. He mus have realized it too:

- I.. It's better go.

We got up and walked in silence, side by side.

- what now?? Percy asked.

- What what?

- It's about time to go to sleep.

- Well, I can accompany you to your cabin. - I offered. The real reason: I was loving this night too much to end it now.

We went to his cabin, but when I was ready to leave, he grabbed my arm.

- Please stay a little more - He pleaded

I went in and we both sat on the bed.

- Lets just talk for a little. We barely said a thing. - He said

- Ok. - I agreed. what do you want to talk about?
- I don't know?

- You're such a seaweed brain. - Then I thought for a minute

- Do you remember when we met??- I asked. Whats's happening to me today?!

- How can I forget? I had never seen anyone like you, who really wanted to help me. Since then I want to repay my debt. - He was now looking straight into my eyes.

- I had this feeling about you too.. - The words left my mouth.

I didn't expect what he did next. He leaned forward, and pressed his lips against mine. It completely caught me off guard, but when I realized, I started to kiss him back.

When we pulled apart, we were smiling like idiots, but I didn't care. I had so many questions in my mind right now, but when I was about to start ask, when Percy spoke:

- Just...don't talk.

Instead, we lie down on the bed, and I leaned against him. With the silence I could hear the water fountain. And we fell asleep.

I know.. It isn't really good . I'm terrible at "talking"...
But I can't be an awesome writer all the time. xD
