Only the Worthy

"So, Jack and Thomas you two lead a group of two others to the left flank. Anne, Hark you lead another group to the right." Troy told the Dionysus, Athena, Hephestus, Ares, and Hermes cabins. Thomas chose Alex and Lucas, Anne chose Amber and Bill. "Heroes, you know the rules, no killing, gaging, or anything like that. All magic items are aloud. Let the game begin!" Chiron yelled. Lacey, Peter, and Kat charged at Thomas, Jack, and Lucas. Alex ran until he saw the blue flag with a picture of the sun on it, he was about to step forward when he frowned, No one tried to stop me. He had to be cautious. He took a step forward, Izzy, Hellen, and Issabel ambushed him. Izzy threw a knife at him which he deflected with a vine. Hellen battled his vines with her own, Alex used some of his vines to keep Hellen and Izzy captive upsidedown. Alex did one on one combat with Issabel. When Issabel had been claimed by Aphrodite a year ago Alex had thought she would’ve been a horrible fighter. It turned out she had been the best dagger – fighter in the camp since Annabeth Chase had started teaching at Camp Jupiter. Alex closed his eyes and tapped his shoulder and Troy’s army of weasles exploded out of the woods. They weren’t ready for it. The weasles chewed on the vines making Izzy and Hellen fall on the ground hard. They must’ve braced themselves, because they got up imediently. They circled him, when Jack, Thomas and, Lucas tackled them. He walked to the flag while the three girls fought, he walked across the stream flag in hand. As soon as he set it down it became purple with a panther’s head, the blue team cheered.

Leo came over to congratulate them. When Piper came over Leo turned toward her, “We will finish it Piper McLean, we will finish what you tried to stop.” And with that he blasted her with the flames in his hand.
