The New Addition To The Jackson Family

A week later Juniper had her three healthily satyr trees. Well, they were satyrs but with green tinted skin .They were so tiny! I hope my kids and Juniper’s kids can be friends like we are. The date was July 17th and I was about a month pregnant. You couldn’t see my stomach much but about a month ago I was defiantly skinnier and 10 pounds lighter. I had my appointment with Will at 1 o’clock. Today’s appointment is just an estimate on when they baby will be born. Will said in about 2 more months he will be able to tell if it’s a boy or a girl.

I was in my room reading some parenting stuff when piper came in. Her mascara was dripping down her face and her eyes blood shot. She was wearing a zebra printed onesie and UGG slippers. Her hair in a messed up messy bun. She had a box of tissues and a note.

“Whoa Piper calm down and tell whats wrong.” I said as soothingly as I could. She just waved the note in my face. I took it. the note said, ‘Dear piper, I’m sorry but I must go back to Camp Jupiter. Reyna says that the camp is under attack and I need to help. I will be back… maybe. If I live that is. Reyna says the enemy is strong. From Jason.’ “Jason isn’t leaving you. He’s protecting his camp.”

“But- he-he-he said- SHE wants him there.” She sobbed.

“PIPER! Reyna is the head of the twelfth legion. I’m sure she doesn’t want to steal Jason way from you.” Though the fact that he said from and not love bothered me.

“I-I-I guess you’re right.” She said in between sobs. She took a deep breath and calmed down.

“So how are you and Percy? Are you going to propose to him? Or are you going to wait for him? And what are reading?”

“Nothing.” I hide the book. “Just a romance novel. And um… I have been looking at some rings.” I opened my lap top. I pulled up a document with pictures of rings and their web site.

“OH MY GODS! I like this one.” She pointed at a silver ring with an ocean blue labyrinth pattern on it.

“That one struck me as Percy too. I’ve been thinking about asking Leo to make it. But I don’t want him adding crazy stuff to it.” I said.

“I can see that.”

“Yeah Leo is one crazy guy.” I laughed

“Now about that book.” Piper said slyly as she grabbed my parenting book. “Parenting?! ANNABETH ARE YOU GOING TO BE A MOTHER?”

“No.. I’m just tired of Percy’s childish antics.” I said. But not convincing enough. Because Piper felt my stomach. Being a child of Aphrodite she could tell if I was holding a child.

“ANNABETH CHASE YOU LITTLE LIER!” She yelled.

“PIPER SHUT YOU TRAP!” I said as I clamped her mouth shut with my hand.

“I’m sorry. It’s just so exciting!” She said with my hand over her mouth. I unclamped her mouth and she gasped for breathe.

“Sorry. I just don’t want the whole camp knowing.” I said quickly. “So the wedding rings. How about this one for me?” I showed her a picture of a ring with 3 diamonds. The ones on the outside were small then the one in the middle was a descent size. The diamonds matched the color of Percy’s ring. But a bit lighter.

“OH GODS ANNABETH THAT’S PERFECT!” Piper squealed.

“Again Piper hush! I don’t want the entire camp knowing.” I reprimanded.

“Okay okay. We should go see Leo with these the ring pics.” She said cheery.

“Sounds good.” I closed my lap top and we walked to the Hephaestus cabin. We knocked on the door and heard someone say, “Come in.” So we went in. but we didn’t see Leo.

“Where’s Leo?” Piper asked Jake Mason.

“Don’t know. I would check Bunker 9. He didn’t come back last night. He’s been working on Festus lately. He’s either there or out with Calypso. Good luck getting him away from his projects.” He said.

“Thanks Jake.” I smiled.

We walked over to Bunker 9. The door wasn’t shut all the way so we just walked in. Bad idea.

Nico was there… naked… with his… up Leo’s… GODS WHAT DID WE WALK IN ON!?

“OH GODS!” Piper screamed.

“ANNABETH, PIPER!” They both yelled.

“Please don’t tell calypso!” Leo pleaded. “She’s already mad at me for something that I don’t know.”

“And don’t tell Will. He’ll kill me!” Nico looked on the verge of tears.

I looked at piper. We had a silent agreement we both said, “Fine we won’t tell.”

“If Leo helps me with something.” I added.

“What is it?” Leo asked annoyed. “I have projects of my own to do.”

I set my lap top on his work table, on top of some blueprints. “I want to propose to Percy soon.
Considering that I… We have been dating for a long time. And I was wondering if you could make the wedding rings. But no lasers or fancy shields. Just two ordinary rings that you could get at a jewelry store.”

“Wow Annabeth. These rings are perfect for you two. I would love to make them.” Leo smiled. I’ll start working on the blueprints now. I’ll show you them before I start working on the final product.”

“Thanks Leo!” I hugged him. He put pants on so that it wasn’t weird.

“Hey what time is it?” Nico asked.

Piper looked at her phone that Leo made. Instead of attracting monsters in repels them more or less. “It’s 1:30. Why?”

“SHIT! IM LATE!” I yelled.

“Late for what?” Leo asked,

“Um… A date… With Percy.” I covered. “I have to go.”

“Okay…. Bye annie.” Leo mocked.

“DON’T CALL ME THAT!” I yelled.

I ran to the infirmary as fast as I could. Wow running with a month old baby was hard. I was slower than usual.. But I was still fast.

“Wise Girl!” Percy hugged me. “I was so worried. You weren’t in your cabin or anywhere. Im so glad you’re okay.”

Okay? I felt like I needed to vomit. But I didn’t say that. I simply said, “Yeah.”

“Alright now that we have to one we need we can get to business.” Will said. He let us to a room in the back. There was a bed with white sheets and some weird equipment. Will had me lay down on the bed and take off my shirt.

“WAIT WHAT! MY FIANCE…” He blushed at his mistake.. Or was it a mistake? “Uh.. girlfriend is not taking off her shirt for you.” He was so cute when he protested.

“Look dude. I’m guy. I am not attracted to boobs.” Will said calmly.

“Oh. Right.” He blushed. “Sorry. I guess im a little over protective of her.”

“A little?” I mocked. I took off my shirt exposing a grey sports bra. I lied down stomach up and Will put this blue goo on my stomach. It was so cold! The he got these things that looked like those things you use to restart someone’s heart. A little figure showed up on a monitor by the foot of the bed so that Percy and I could see it.

“By my estimate the baby is due by April 25th.” Will said. As he moved the contraption around my stomach. “The baby seems very healthy. You should be perfectly fine.” He wiped the blue goop off my torso and I put my shirt on.

“Thanks Will.” Percy and I said in unison. He waved us goodbye as we headed off to the beach for a late picnic lunch.
