The New Addition To The Jackson Family

The next morning I woke up at like 3 am. And stormed down to the praetor tent to tell at Rachel. "RACHEL ELIZABETH DARE YOU HAVE RUINED EVERYTHING! I DIDNT THUNK I NEEDED TO SAY THIS BUT I GUESSI HAVE TO! WE WERE NEVER A THING AND WE NEVER WILL BE!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. I hope she heard me. But it was 3 am. Any normal demigod, even mortal would be asleep. On the way back to my place I had to very very conscientious not to blow up any toilets. On my way home I stopped to ask a few favors. I knew a kid who is a decentant of Mercury. He got me Annabeth's favorite maple syrup, rose petals, 12 dozen roses, chocolates, and ingredients to make pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage. At like 6 I went to work making everything. Annabeth came down in her pjs and a grey silk robe with little tridents on it. The robe a I got her for our 7 year anniversary. "Percy, what on hades name are you doing up so early? Who long have you been up!?" She yawned!.
"I've been up since 3." I replied. "I made you some breakfast. Sit and eat. You have a long trip ahead of you."
"Percy!" She yelled from the dining rooms. She must have seen the roses, chocolates and the rose petals I arranged to say 'take me back?' I made the pancakes on heart-shapes too. And arranged the bacon and sausage in a heart and filled it with scrambled eggs. "NO IM BOT TAKING YOU BACK! YOU THINK YOU ARE SOO-" she was interrupted by the door bell as if on cue. "Percy, I swear to the gods if it's a giant teddy bear I'm going to kill you." She opened the door and there was Rachel. "Rachel I told you I'm not talking to you anymore."
"I know I know." She said. "But listen Percy didn't cheat on you. I just romanticized everything. When I was Percy was taking the same elective class and when I saw him laughing with his friends I guess I fell with him. And you know me I don't take no for an answer. Anyway I'm sorry that I ruined you guys' relationship. I hope you can forgive me." Rachel pleaded.
"Oh Rachel. I'm sorry. I haven't been myself lately. I overreacted. But I'm not taking Percy back just yet. I'm going to have to think on the train to New York. But since your here, how about you stay for breakfast. We have plenty of pancakes." Annabeth suggested.
"That would be lovely Annabeth." Rachel agreed.
I ushed them both to the dining room and cleared off the rose petals. then I got Rachel a plate and we all dug in!
"Wow, Percy, you made regular colored pancakes. Annabeth must be really special to you." Rachel winked.
"She is. And always will but. No matter how made she gets." I promised.
but Annabeth just liked at her plate and was about to cry. It riok all of my will power not to comfort her. But Rachel was here and did what I wanted to do. "Rachel I'm fine." Annabeth insisted as she dabbed under her eyes with a napkin. "Anyway. Percy, I have an extra ticket, because it was a better deal if I bought 2 online. But you be as kind to escort me on the train.
i jumped up and said, "I would love to! Let me go pack!" Then I ran upstairs and packed faster than Usain Bolt can run. Then I grabbed both of Annabeth's suitcases and my over packed suitcase and ran toward the stairs. I missed the first step and fell down. I tumbled and rolled down 13 stairs.
"OH GODS PERCY ARE YOU OKAY!?" Annabeth ran over to help me but she retained herself. "Um.. I mean.. You stupid idiot you almost broke my suitcase." She tried to look furious. But I could she the concern in her eyes. "We have a few hours before we have to be at the train station. We should shower. I mean, I shower. Then when I'm don't you shower. Not- not together. Gross."
"Whatever."
And she stepped over me under 3 insanely heavy suitcases and went to the bathroom to shower. Once she was done I took my shower. Then it was time to leave for the train. For the entire bus ride to the train station she and I said nothing. Even on the train we said nothing. For hours and hours on the train I looked at her. Then I fell asleep. When I woke up we were only 3 hours from the grand central station. I had rested my had on Annabeth's shoulder.
"Oh! gods! Annabeth I'm-I'm sorry. I didn't-"
"Shhh. It's okay. I don't mind. I guess I've gotten used to you drooling on me." She laughed. "But now that you are up. I want to say that I'm sorry. Ike I told Rachel, I haven't been myself lastly. I overreacted. I love you too seaweed brain." And kissed my cheek.
"Oh! Annabeth!" I just smiled. "Just a random wuestin. Have you gotten your period yet?"
"No." She admitted. "But I'm scared Percy. What if your father was right. But you asked him if was safe. Percy, did you lie to me?"
"I'm sorry Annabeth I did lie. But you just looked so beautiful and hopeful. I couldn't bring myself to tell you the bad news." I hung me head in shame.
"It's okay. If I were you I would too." And she kissed me.
Once at camp we were greeted by the Ares and Apollo kids fighting. Annabeth being friends with everyone yelled, "HEY! STOP IT! FIGHTING WILL GET NEITHER OF YOU GUYS ANYTHING!"
"Sorry Annabeth." Said Clarisse daughter of Ares. "That is noway to welcome someone home! You too Percy! Welcome home." She clapped my back. Classic Clarisse "unintentionally" hurting me. But I was glad to be home.
"Well, well. Percy and Annabeth siding with the beast. Typical." Will Solace taunted. We had to hold Clarisse back so that she wouldn't smash Will's face in.
"WE DONT SIDE WITH ANYONE!" Annabeth and I said in unison. We still got it! Even after 4 days of not talking! We still got it!
"We just don't want our favorite cabins to be fighting all the time." Annabeth charmed. "Besides, do you really want MORE people in the infirmary? Do you really want to HAVE TO heal SOO MANY people?"
"No." Will admitted. "But I'm not apologizing first."
"Okay fine. I'm sorry William Solace son of Apollo, for stealing your chariot." Clarisse said smugly
"And I'm sorry Clarisse La Rue daughter of Ares for injury your siblings over a stupid matter." Will copied.
I heard hoofs clopping in the ground and by instinct I braced myself for a huge goat hug from Grover. But it was just Chiron.
"CHIRON!" Annabeth and I yelled happily!
"Children! A pleaser, but huh weren't you two supposed to come in another few weeks?" Chiron asked.
"Originally, yes. But Percy and I had a fight and I wanted to get away and think. But we fixed very thing and now we are as happy as ever!" Annabeth confirmed.
"Ah. I see. So you two are okay. All matters taken care of?" Chiron asks so many question! GODS!
"Yes sir. My love for Annabeth would crawl through Tartarus 100 times over before it dies." I said poetically.
"AWWWWWWW! PERCY!" Annabeth tacked me in a hug.
"Ah. Young love." Chiron mocked. "Anyway. Grover and Junpier are in the woods doing the gods know what. But you may want to go visit them. They have some news."
"NEWS!!?" Annebeths clapped. "PERCY WE HAVE TO GO SEE THEM! NOW!" And she pulled me by the arm into the woods.
