A Road Trip Across America
“So how do you expect to get across America?” Piper asks
“Well I was hoping for a campervan but the camp don’t have one,” I said, chucking my bag into the van. Argus was going to drive us to Manhattan but from there we were on our own.
“My dad owns two, I’m sure he’ll like to give one to camp, I mean I’ve stayed at this school longer than any others,” Piper said “I’ll talk to him now,” I nod.
“Thanks Pipes, if you want to contact me, use this dramaca,” I said “It will go right through to me and it’s a multiple use one. Alpha has propriety,” I said.
“Good luck,” Percy said, hugging me
“I’ll be fine,” I say as Annabeth hugs me
“Happy Birthday, by the way,” Danny said as I got into the van.
“Thanks, I don’t expect any gifts from you,” I say “Don’t bother about putting the seat belts on, their uncomfortable if you want to sleep and… I’m not going to say anything,”
“I think I’ll go to sleep,” Danny said
“Before you do, I’ve got these for you,” I said, handing him a sword and shield “Not that you’ll need them or anything but it’s good to be prepared,” I have my hand over them. The sword turned into a pen. What is with swords and pens? and the Shield became small plate size.
“Thanks, but will they fit with me?” Danny asked
“Athena is all about finding the right weapons for the right people,” I smile “Now get some sleep, you’ll need,”
