The Alpha - Ligth 'Em Up

Danny’s pov

“Okay change into 4th gear,” Alex instructs. I change the gear. Indy is still asleep. I look up at the road. On the side, signs litter it. The ones from my childhood like ‘Amity Park, The safest place on earth’ and ‘Amity Park: A Great Place to Live’ are still up as well as a few new ones like ‘Welcome to Amity Park, Home of Danny Phantom’ and ‘Phantom Hometown’ I resist the urge to blast them off their posts.
“Alex go and wake Indy, we’re nearly there,” I tell him.
“Don’t you miss this place?” Alex asks
“No, Yes, a little,” I reply. Alex laughs. He disappears from the cabin. Do I really miss this place? I don’t know. Honestly. I miss Casper High (Yeah I know), The Box Ghost and the other ghosts I used to fight. I miss Jazz most of all.
“Well I can tick off Amity Park places I’ve been to,” Indy said “Pull over and I’ll drive the rest of the way,”

“So this your place, Nice,” Alex said “So much technical equipment here,” I raise an eyebrow.
“Oh did I mention we inherit some powers from our parents? Alex, he loves mechanics. Though no Hephaestus kid was as enthusiastic as Leo Valdez apparently. Me, I got a the whole controlling water thing and talking to sea creatures, waterproof unless I don’t want it. Breathing underwater and I can extend that to other people. Being in water heals me and I heal other people though water though it’s pretty painful if it’s a broken bone,” Indy explained “And I crack any code in a matter of minutes,”
“Who’s Leo Valdez?” I ask
“He’s just someone who built this amazing, spanking war machine. It had cannons, it flew and floated. And he practically built all by himself,” Alex told me “He, he died during the Giant War last year. He was like me. A fire user. He went up in a blazing victory. Nico, your brother, said something about how his death felt weird,”
“Did you know him?” I ask
“Nah, We’ve only been at camp since after the War,” Indy said “We literally turned up a week later. Percy did, and Annabeth and the rest of the seven,” She looked up
“What the floob is what!” She yelled suddenly, pointing to the UFO on top.
“An Ops Centre, duh,” Alex and I said simultaneously.
“Jinx!” Alex yells out. I walk up the stairs and press the door bell. A hologram of my dad appears.
“Who are you and what business do you have here?” He asks
“Danny Fenton, Indy Wood and Alex Chadwick, here to see Jack and Maddie Fenton,” I say. The hologram disappears and the door opens. My “dad” comes out.
“Danny? is it really you, you’re home! Maddie! He’s home Danny’s home!” Jack yells, gripping me in a big hug.
“D-Jack, please let me go,” I try to say. But Jack doesn’t let go. Then I remembered. I’m half ghost! I phase through his arms. When he realises I’m gone, he makes contact with Indy and Alex.
“I see you have a beautiful new girlfriend. I never liked that Sammatha girl anyway,” Jack said “And you’ve found a new Tucker,”
“First off, I’m not Danny’s girlfriend, I’m his,” I point to Alex “Second of all, his name is Alex, and thirdly, I’ve only known Danny for less than a day,”
“Danny!” My mum said, running to hug me “You’re back. I was so worried,” She hugs me. I phase out once more.
“Mum, I’m fine. Alex, Indy and I are just stopping by,” I tell her, turning away.
“See, told ya we should have gone to LA,” Alex pouted.
“Oh shut up,” Indy teased him “You sound like Emma on road trips,”
“Oh no you did not just compare me with your cousin,” Alex said.
“Do they always do that?” Jack asked
“I don’t know, I’ve only just met them. Lets just say if it wasn’t for Indy and Alex, I wouldn’t have found a home where I was accepted and I knew who my real father was,” I reply, watching my two friends with intent.
“So you met Hades did you?” Mum asked.
“We don’t normally use his name around my part of the world, we like to refer to him as our friend downstairs, unless we want to swear then we say what the Hades,” Indy replied “And probably not,”
“No I haven’t met him yet, I’ve met one of my half brothers though,” I say “And I’ve met these two. Indy practically pushed me into the campervan when we were formally introduced. Something about not wanting Nico on her quest,” A car pulls over on the kerb. A tall lady gets out. Jazz.
“Danny!” She yells. She hugs me. I don’t try to escape this time.
“You look hungry, what did they feed you?” She asks
“I knew I had forgotten something! Alex why didn’t you remind me,” Indy exclaimed
“I’m ADHD,”
“And I’m a daughter of Athena and Poseidon. Athena may be the goddess of wisdom but Poseidon makes me a little bit of a scatter brain,”
“So did you find those kids?” Jazz asked
“Yeah, This is Indy Wood, known better as Indy Jackson and her boyfriend Alex Chadwick,” I say “Indy only adopts the name Indy Jackson when she’s at school and stuff as she lives with Percy Jackson and his family,”
“Oh, that’s why I couldn’t find Indy Wood,” Jazz said “Come on, I’ll make some food,”
“I’ll help you, I’ve got a mean bacon and egg pie recipe,” Indy said “Plus, I’m in the mood,” Alex licks his lips.
