Indy’s pov (Two Years Later)
“Indy, Indy Wake up!” I heard my half-brother, Percy yell. I was about to wake when I was pulled back into the dream world. Images of a guy with snow white hair and glowing green eyes floated around in my mind. It also showed a guy who looked like him but with raven black hair and blue eyes. Two ice white rings formed around this guy. However I was awakened before I could see what happened.
“Wake Up Indy!” Percy yelled as he dumped a bucket load of water in my face.
“You do realise that you didn’t have a bucket right?” I asked, willing myself dry “The neighbours could have seen,”
“Your curtains are closed,” He said blankly “You’re supposed to be the daughter of Athena is also the daughter of Poseidon,”
“I know and thanks to you I didn’t get to see what happened to the boy in my dream,” I said, chuckling my sheets and Donna across my bed.
“Percy! Indy! You need to hurry up if you want to get to swim team practice,” Sally’s voice echoed through the apartment. Percy left my room to get breakfast. I quickly got changed into my denim shorts, pink checked shirt which lay unbuttoned over my singlet. I left my room and ran down to breakfast. Greeting me were blue waffles.
“Morning Indy,” Paul said as I sat down.
“Hey Paul,” I say between mouthfuls.
“Indy, Percy’s already left for swim team,” Sally told me. I leave my waffles, run to the front day where my bag is waiting. I pull on my boots and start running.
The final whistle blows.
“Everyone out and hit the showers!” Coach Hedge yells. I pull myself up and out of a pool. Percy’s not far behind. I’m about to walk to the changing rooms when
“Indy someone’s here to see you,” Percy yells. I turn around. Standing next to Percy is Alex Chadwick. My face turns red.
“Hey hot stuff,” I tell him before I kiss his cheek.
“Hey Kelp Head,” He replies
“I thought that was my nickname,” Percy complains
“No yours is Seaweed Brain,” Annabeth’s voice tells him.
“Jackson, Jackson, Get change you can talk to your friends later!” Hedge yells.
“Why did he have to quit his job as Mr Mclean’s assistant?” I mutter as I walk away.
“So why are you at my school?” I asked Alex.
“Oh my gods, you don’t remember?” Alex replied
“Was it our anniversary or something?” I asked, my face pain stricken “Wait don’t tell me it’s April,” They nodded
“THe 29th?” Again they nodded. The horror hit me. I had forgotten my own birthday.
“Why didn’t you remind me Percy, that’s what brother’s for and Annabeth we were IMing just last night?” I asked my siblings. I didn’t get a reply.
“Any way I’m here and so is Annabeth, we thought we might want to go to The Big Apple and skip school,” Alex said, breaking the silence.
“Then what are we waiting for?” I asked “We need to tell Paul, trust me, if I’m not in my english class he’ll freak,”
“Oh the whole staff know that you and Percy are out today. Your boyfriend from Greece is coming to visit you so you’re spending the day together and Percy and I are coming along so that you two don’t get into trouble,” Annabeth said in a matter of fact way.
“That’s good enough for me,” I told them as we walked out of the school.
