Indy’s pov

“Percy!” I heard a voice yell
“Annabeth!” A call followed the first. I saw two girl and two boys push through the crowd.
“Carter, I see you have a girlfriend,” Percy joked
“Hi Sadie, what are you doing here?” Annabeth asked the girl with blond hair and red streaks/
“Was about to say the same thing, you wouldn’t skip for no good reason,” Sadie replied “Carter thought it would be nice to let the initiates to go to New York and he also wanted to go on a date with Zia,”
“You wanted to go on a date with Will,” The african american dude complained. Percy turned to Alex and me.
“Indy, Leo these are Carter and Sadie Kane. Carter, Sadie this is my younger half sister Indy Wood and her Boyfriend, Alex Chadwick,” Carter raised an eyebrow
“Don’t ask,” Annabeth told him.
“I’m assuming that the tall dude is Will and the nervous girl is Zia,” I said “You're not from around here are you?”
“No I’m not, I‘m from Egypt. I moved here last year,” Zia replied “How did you know?”
“Oh, I lived in Greece for like 13 years, I was born in LA but dad and I moved to Greece when my mum died,” I told them.
“Anyway why aren’t you in school Annabeth?” Sadie asked
“It’s Indy’s 17th today so Percy, Alex and I thought we might celebrate together and it’s the last day of school, it’ll be fine,” Annabeth replied.
“So there’s been no Egyptian apocalypse lately?” Percy said
“And no Greek Monsters for you to fight?” Will Zia, Alex and I looked at our friends with the same expression: “Why are you Telling them this?”
Seeing the looks on our faces Carter said
“It’s okay, they know,” I sighed
“Let’s start over, I’m Indy Wood, Daughter of Poseidon and Athena, Please don’t ask about that, don’t worry, I’m still 10% mortal,” I said
“Alex Chadwick, son of Hephaestus. fire user,” I grab his arm. I did not want my boyfriend to go up in flames in the middle of the times square. Alex rolled his eyes
“I wasn’t going to go up in flames kelp Head,” Alex said
“Will Stone, eye of Anubis,” Will said, holding his hand out. I shook it.
“I’m Zia Rashid, eye of Ra,”
“What’s with the eye of Ra and Anubis?” Alex asked, bringing out pipe cleaners
“Well Ra and Anubis are Egyptian gods,” I said “But I have no idea what the eye is,”
“It’s just when you’re hosting a god. No big deal,” Sadie told us “I love your streaks, Indy, what brand do you use?” Finally someone spotted the aqua and pink streaks in my blond hair.
“You know the Jones brand well I created it, I added a little greek magic to make it last longer and make it brighter,” I replied
“Carter! Sadie!, thank goodness I’ve found you, Felix has conjured up some more magic penguins!” A voice yelled thought the crowd. A girl stopped and eyed Percy, Alex, Annabeth and me
“Who are these lot?”
“Oh I met Carter in Greece one summer along with my boyfriend and from the looks of things, I believe that they already knew Annabeth and Percy,” I said.
“We’ve really got to go,” Sadie said, running after the girl.

Because I can. They don't really play a part in the story but I felt like adding them in. What else was I meant to write in Japan? plus it gives a good way for Danny to learn about the existance of Greek Monsters
