The Alpha - Ligth 'Em Up

Indy’s pov

Once Danny was out of sight, Alex stopped.
“What was that for? I was just warming up to the kid,” I asked
“This Thermos is dangerous and very weird, We need to get it to Chiron,” Leo explained “Do you think they’ll be ready?”
“Malcolm texted me,” Annabeth replied. Malcolm was one of my many half half brothers on Athen’s side so I knew they’d be talking about Camp Half Blood. The world went black.

So long story short; My boyfriend knocked me out. Before they knew it we were at Camp Half Blood and I was waken. The camp was abnormally quiet.
“Where is everyone?” I asked
“It’s the start of the holidays You can’t expect everyone to be here,” Leo replied
“What about the year rounders? I mean Lyss and Em would be here unless they’re having a last minute present shopping spree like last year,” I ask
“You’ll see,” Percy said, pushing the door to the big house.
“SURPRISE!” All the campers yelled. Emma and Alyssa ran up to me and hugged me.
“Happy birthday cuz,” Lyss said
“Yeah, Happy birthday,” Em told me, following her older sister’s lead. Something told me that something was up. My cousins normally didn’t hug me on my birthday and when Emma says something after Alyssa, I have good reason to believe that something is wrong.
“Okay what happened this time?” I asked “DId you blow up your school? or did you scare away all your classmates with some old legend that you used to scare away the customers from our tour company three years ago?”
“Nothing happened this time,” A familiar voice said.
“Daddy!” I yell, racing into my dad’s arms.
“Oh shut up Nico, just because I’m the Alpha doesn’t mean I don’t have a soft spot and I haven’t seen him for a year,” I say, knowing my old nemesis was about to make a wise crack.
“I wasn’t saying anything Indy,” Nico replied.
“You were about to,” I said
“Hey sweetheart,” Dad whispers in my ear “Happy Birthday, Aunt Natalie sends her regards,” I turn to Alex, Annabeth and Percy
“You guys set me up,” I said “You took me shopping so that everyone could set up a party. That’s the best present ever!” I embrace Annabeth, Percy and Alex in a hug.
“So you don’t want any more presents,” Alex said
“Of course, I expect that from you guys atleast,” I tell him, playfully punching his arm. Alex hands me a red wrapped present. I tear the wrapping. Inside was a… MP3?
“It’s a MP3,” Alex confirmed “Made out of celestial bronze, monsters won’t get a flare saying you’re there and as a last resort you can throw it at them. It’s got all your favourite songs and if you turn it over…” I turn the MP3 over. Engraved on the back is a trident. Around the edges little owls bore into me and across the centre was the words: Happy Birthday Kelp Head.
“It’s amazing,” I opened all my presents. Dad and Aunt Natalie had gotten me a small DIY shelf so I could put all my books on. Annabeth had gotten me the last book in the Ranger’s Apprentice series which I didn’t have. Percy had spend hours under the sea with Tyson, our Cyclops half brother, designing a new shield because my old one was pretty beat. Emma had gotten me a new coffee mug with the message World #1 cousin. Alyssa along with Jason, Piper and the Stoll brothers had pulled money to buy me a skateboard, a new swimsuit and state of the art watch. Austin, Emma’s long term crush, brought me a packet of my favourite coffee. THe most surprising presents were from Athena and Poseidon. I hadn’t expect them to get me anything. But they did. Athena had given me grey converse which, in battle, made me a little quicker. Poseidon had, deciding that if Percy was willing to spend hours under the sea for me, gotten me my own pegasus. The caramel coloured pegasus was next to Blackjack, Percy’s personal ride.
“I’m going to call you Caramel, how’s that,”
That’s fine, my lady
“Please call me Indy,” I tell her.
