Revenge From The Moon Goddess
Chapter Four
Annabeth POV
I stared at the place where the fates had been. Beside my side Jason shooed everyone away telling them to go train and get ready for the fight. Travis helped Katie up the stairs to their room. Piper picked up Jasper and walked over to me.
"Annabeth, I know this is really stupid to say, but don't worry about them. They can't change who we are. We'll be at your side and fight with you. We'll find a way to bring Percy back," she nodded, "Trust us."
I nodded as I sat down back in my chair. I waited until everyone left before I got up and started to walk to Percy's room. I entered and closed the door behind me. I sat down beside him and placed my cheek on his chest. I felt a tear stream down my cheek, I waited for Percy to wipe it away, but oh wait he can't. I lifted my head and his him on the forehead.
"Why does have to happen to us? Why are we cursed like this?" I whispered in his ear.
I stood up from the bed and turned away when something caught my eye. Percy's blue teddy bear sat on the desk. I smiled remembering the time he told me about it. He had named it "Bluey". I walked over and picked it up and hugged it to my chest taking the scent in. I walked back to Percy and tugged it in the blanket with Percy.
I smiled before turning my back at them and walked out of the room to see Piper and Jason waiting for me.
"I'm alright, you guys don't need to follow me around." I said passing by.
Piper caught my arm and turned me around. "Annabeth, forget about what they said and focus on the day ahead of you. We need to get trained to fight against the other packs. We also have to visit the other packs so we form bigger groups to fight against this. Even if we don't have Percy, we have you. We trust you to keep us going. Please Annabeth, our Luna!"
I looked at the ground and then realized what Piper said was true. We had stuff to do and the only way we can get them done is if I focus ahead and worry about the Fates after, but I still need to have them on mind.
I looked up and nodded. "You're right. I'll meet you both outside. Tell everyone to be ready for training."
Piper and Jason nodded before walking away.
I took a deep breath and followed them out.
The pack members stopped all their conversations as they watched me walk up the stairs to the balcony.
I cleared my throat. "So, yes I have been not well for the past days and I've been a terrible Luna, but I have decided one thing. If I don't get shit going, nothing's going to happen here. So I've decided to start the plan. I'll be visiting some packs to discuss some matters with them. With me I ask Jason and Piper Grace, Austin, Kayla and... Leo Valdez to come."
I turned my head and looked over at Leo who looked surprised. I smiled and nodded.
"Continuing - while I'm gone, Travis and Katie Stoll; Frank and Hazel Zhang will be taking care of the pack so you'll be following to their rules. I'll be sending messages to them and they share with all of you. Alabaster Torrington, Ethan Nakamura, and Jake Mason will take care of the patrolling. Charles Beckendorf, Connner Stoll, and Miranda Gardiner will train everyone. Everyone else, I may not assign you jobs, but remember to protect our camp and train well! We will win this! We will get our Alpha back!"
Everyone cheered as I walked down the stairs. Many gave me hugs or patted me on the shoulder.
"Why me?" I heard a voice behind me.
I turned around to see Leo Valdez still looking a little dazed.
"Why can't it be you?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.
"B-but I won't be useful. I can stay behind and train-" Leo got cut off.
"Don't say that Leo. You're just bringing yourself down. There's something special about you, I just don't know yet, but you're powers will come blaze," I told him, "I need you to come with me because there's some stuff that you might know that I might not. Okay?"
Leo nodded still feeling a little awkward. "I'll try my best Luna."
I smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "You'll do great Leo. May our Goddess bless you and show you your power."
Leo smiled back and I saw the respect he held in his eyes.
I left him to that and walk around talking to others about our plan and how we were going to move forward.
"I'm starving," I walked into the kitchen to see Conner making food, "I didn't know you cooked."
Conner turned around and grinned. "Well, surprise! What do you want?"
I sat down and shrugged. "What do you have?"
"I'm made lasagna, want some?" he showed me a plate.
I nodded. "Yes!" I grabbed the plate from him and started eating.
Conner chuckled. "So which packs are you visiting?"
"Hmm.. totally there are three packs," I replied, "They are Mountain Rocks, Lion Roar and Snow Town."
"Lion Roar? Snow Town?" Conner raised an eyebrow leaning against the counter, "No offense to them, but what type of name is that?"
I shrugged. "Well it's their choice. Can't do anything about that can we?" I stood up and placed my plate in the sink. "I better go and write all of them a letter telling them we'll be coming. I'll see you later Conner."
"Later Luna." Conner waved smiling before turning and continuing his cooking.
