The Hope in Our Scars

When Lily opened her eyes once more, it was morning. Not only had she slept through the night, but when she woke up her body was locked in the embrace of Leo Valdez, her love.
Lilac stirred in her sleep causing Leo to wake her up.
“Morning, Lils,” he yawned, slightly pushing himself away. “How did you sleep?”
“Like I just took a walk naked in Elysium,” Lily shot back. Leo mused, slipping his cool fingers over her exposed waist. “Well it wasn’t the first time we’ve slept together,” he said.
“True,” Lily admitted. “But it was our first time actually you know…doing the deed.”
Leo considered. “Well, you have a point.” He kissed her collarbone, “Now don’t tell me you hated it.”
“Oh stop it,” Lily pushed Leo away. She hated how he was only thinking of making out with her ever since last night.
“I will stop it,” said Leo, “once we take a bath.”
“A bath?” Lily asked incredulously.
“You know going to bed includes taking a shower…together,” Leo added. When Lily wouldn’t budge from the sheets, he lifted her easily as if she were nothing but a soft pillow.
First thing, she noticed when she entered the bathroom was that it was huge. Two marble sinks were placed in front of a grand mirror, with a large closet, and a delux sized bath tub. Already filled with hot water.
“You little-“
“I do take a daily bath every morning,” Leo laughed. “It’s not like I was planning to wash you out after we had inter course.”
Lily turned a bright shade of pink. “Yeah. Right.”
“Okay,” said Leo, lifting Lily once again, and placing her into the florescent bath tub. Feeling the warm bath water cover her body, Lily didn’t object when Leo climbed in afterwards, grabbing soap and hair shampoo plus conditioner.
He unbottled the shampoo bottle smeared the fluid onto her hair, and rubbed. Lily yelped when he pulled on a strand, and she too massaged his head with the shampoo as well. After their hair were filled with shampoo, and rinsed (by which Leo dunk water onto Lily’s hair, continuing an indoor tub war). He held out Lily’s arm and began to rub it with soap.
“Why do you always clean me first?” Lily asked irritated, when Leo began to place soap onto her chest, enjoying his motions too much.
Leo smirked. “Because I’m doing so right now.”
He began to rub the soap down her chest, and most importantly stroked her center with the bar. Lily instinctly groaned, while Leo lifted a brow.
“Sorry, habits,” Lily said.
“Oh Leo,” she asked, before she forgot. “That alcohol that Piper gave me. It made me go all hazy, and haywired my brain, because I saw the most incredulous vision. You were at your cabin, doing some other girl named Calypso, and I was about to join in. When she left, and afterwards I dreamt you looking over and cradling me, which that part was true I know and-“
Leo’s face seemed expressionless, and he leaned forth after only a while. “You know I would never have an affair with another girl, when I already have all I need with me. You know that right?”
“Yes,” Lily squeaked, as Leo ran a finger up her chin. “I don’t believe it Leo. I really don’t want to.”
Leo kissed her, and Lily found her swinging her arms around his neck. No doubt ever crossed her emotions at the moment. “I promise. Now after we dry off, lets go see Piper together.”

I apologize for switching to 3rd person towards my most recent chapters. I guess I haven't worked on this fic for a pretty legit long time. Well, you people must bare with me. I'm sorry, guys, but povs will not change how I go on with the story.
