The New Demigods
Summary
The demigods of the south have to fight to make sure that the wonders and dangers of Greece do not interfere with the mortal world. James, the son of Athena, is the main character of the story who has a troubled background with untapped strength both mentally and physically. He has to work with his friends Elle, the daughter of Apollo, and May, the daughter of Hephestus, to keep the population of monsters under control while still leading normal 13 year old lives. They have to keep their true identities, and the identities of all the other demigods and monsters, a secret.
Characters
Alexander Rawlins
Alexander is the son of Loki. He is not welcome to the camps but still helps the other demigods on many occasians. He uses twin katanas that turn into twin daggers for multiple fighting modes and combinations. Because of his nordish descent, his father is the one that raised him. He is a troublesome kid that usually gets into trouble with authorities.
Annabeth Chase
Annabeth is a daughter if Athena who will also help to train James.
Elle Burke
Elle is the daughter of Apollo. Little to James's knowing, she has a major crush on him. Elle has never experienced any pain in her life and is a generally happy person. She loves it when she gets to hunt down the monsters. Her weapon of choice is a sword that can convert into a coin. She can will her weapon into either form and controls it with an almost unnatural ease.
James Klein
James is the son of Athena. He is a troubled kid with a dark backstory. He feels that it is his duty to protect his partners Elle and May. His weapon of choice is a bow with arrows. He can will it to become a watch for easy transportation. He is very intelligent and strives for perfection. He is strong mentally and physically.
Joan Bradley
Joan is the 15 year old daughter of Venus. Much like Kate, she doesn't fit in all that well with the Greeks. She and Kate are almost inseperable. Her weapon of choice is the a dagger that has no other form. She is a simple and straight foward young lady.
Jonas Di Angelo
Jonas is the son of Hades. He is generally happy person for a son of Hades. He doesn't like when people know who his father is. He has the ability to bend the shadows to his will, therefor, he has no need to carry a weapon. He is able to shadow travel so the team doesn't need to pay for transportation. He is the brother of Nico Diangelo
Kate Thomson
Kate is a 14 year old daughter of Mars. She doesn't blend in well with all of the Greek demigods but tries her best. Her mother was a loud and easily excitable lady who was a little flighty. But she was very lovable. Kate's weapon of choice is a spear that can turn into a ruby necklace.
May Kirkland
May is the daughter of Hephestus. She has the rare ability to control fire with her mind. She and James are very close friends. She feels like he is her younger brother and would do anything to protect him. Her weapon of choice is a scythe. Her scythe can change into a pen much like Percy Jackson's Riptide. She doesn't feel too close to Elle and James but would give her life to save them all the same.
Percy Jackson
A son of Poisidon who helps to train James.
Peter Holly
Peter is the son of Zues. He is very powerful and has the ability to control electricity. His weapon of choice is a spear. Peter is a "player" and hits on Elle and May on a few occasions. Naturally, this frusturates James. He comes in later in the story and isnt really much of a main character.
