It's Not Just Make Believe

Let’s start with the obvious. My name is Eliza Ann Jackson. I’m seventeen years old.I live in Upper East Side Manhattan and spend my summers at Camp Half Blood. I am a demigod daughter of Poseidon. Percy Jackson is my twin brother. Anything else…..? Oh, yeah, I’m also currently on a FLYING SHIP sailing to save the world from the waking Earth Mother known as Gaea. Yeah, so, my life’s completely NORMAL.Right? NOT! So, it kind of goes unstated that my life is the opposite of a princess’s. Fighting monsters and trying to not get killed is my norm. I thought the closest my life would ever get to a princess’s was the complete opposite. I even grew to despise the princesses who just sat around waiting for a prince to save the day. I mean, really?! How stupid can you be? Well, that’s what I thought, at least, until I became the one that needed the rescuing….
