The Jaegers
This little story of mine, pfft little more like bigger than Saturn
Percy
You know how most stories start off with a clueless demigod discovering who they really are? You know how they do something really stupid and it turns out to be a blessing in disguise? Well my first story started like that. But this story is something totally different, it contains more inhuman characters then ever before. It contains gods from different universes and stones more powerful than your average pebbles in the front garden. There is more action and more heroes--but with more heroes comes more enemies.
This story is one of a kind. At first it was destined to begin but never finish. But you know what? Someone decided that I couldn't be hidden forever. Someone decided I needed to be found by S.H.E.I.L.D, that I had to be the one to fight a war that wasn't originally mine. To be honest, I don't mind--I met some great new People and have fantastic new friends. Just the other day actually I was out with... no that's a different story before you want to know that you'll want to know this...
"The Jaegers, it means the ferice warriors." Annabeth explains to me as we walk down the streets of New York city enjoying the view and eachothers company. The sun is up and shining at it's fullest. Heat waves traveling down tanning my skin but leaving me craving the water.
"So The Jaegers, they were a group of demigods who fought against evil, human or not?" I question her.
"Close, but one important piece of information is that females were included. They were the first ever group--and the most successful to ever include females." she corrects me and leans her head into my shoulder.
"I give up!" I moan. "I'm never going to learn!" I complain. "I'll stick to the physical part of this warrior thing." I decide and earn a laugh and a kiss from a reassuring Annabeth.
"It'll be fine seaweedbrain." She comments. "Your physical side is stronger than anyone else's." She tries to build my self esteem. I grin and flex my biceps for her. She rolls her eyes and pretends to hide her eyes. "I can't look!" she over dramatically says.
"What's that smell?" I suddenly ask sniffing the air and catching a whiff of smokey something. I scan the area to see a large building to the left of me on fire. It has a massive A on the front, I don't think I've ever noticed it before.
I grab Annabeth's hand and run towards it. I see flames flickering high and screams are starting to echo as people start ti notice what's happening.
Using natural instinct I pull buckets of water from the nearest source and fling them over the burning tower praying that nobody is inside. The firenis soon out and people are staring at it oddly. I notice someone even was recording that. The last thing I want is to be caught so again I grab Annabeth's hand and run off Towards the safety of camp.
