Old Friends

It was a warm summer night in Ogygia and Calypso and I were hanging out in the garden. We were lying on a picnic blanket, surrounded be a variety of flowers we hung out all day and now we were stargazing. It was really nice.
The night was very calm. Birds were chirping their songs but other than that it was quiet. The sky was beautiful, too. It was completely black, but illuminated by millions of shining stars. It was getting late now, though you could never really tell time in Ogygia.
Calypso and I were cuddled together, but Calypso soon fell asleep. I didn't want to wake her so tonight, we would sleep under the stars. I soon drifted off to sleep and everything went black.
I dreamt of all the orphanages I had been to. My dream changed from each orphanage to the next. At first, everything seemed the way it always was. I would joke around with the other kids I met. Trying to hide the pain of not being with a family and losing my mom. It was always tragic to think of her. It felt like I was reliving the past in my dream.
Suddenly, I noticed something, someone. A girl with light skin, wavy brown hair, and a warm smile. But I soon came up into consciousness to the sound of a sweet voice and a delicious aroma.
