Demigods at Hogwarts (Book One)

I stare up at the large looming figure over me and a shiver runs down my spine. The hairs on the back of my neck stick up and I freeze. Somewhere behind me I hear a female scream But I don't recognize it as Annabeth.

"Perseus Jackson!" It booms loudly and the whole building shakes. I pull out riptide and I hear the door being forced open behind me. But Instead of people leaving like I thought but hundreds of people streamed in. Screams and shouts fill the room. Whispers start and I try to concerntrate but my worst fear is standing right in front of me and he just boomed my name.

I feel Annabeth come to my side. I grab her hand and reassurance runs through me. With her I can do anything. She pulls her wand out and summons her drakon bone blade. Ready to fight with me.


"What is going on here?" A loud demanding voice calls I tear my eyes off Him, just long enough to look around and see the student body parting for Professor McGonagal. She sees Annabeth and I standing at a close proximity and we each have a weapon and a wand in our hands and then she sees the massive figure looming over us. "Perseus Jackson, what is the meaning of this?" She demands. Tartarus turns his head and grins evily at her.

"You wanna know the meaning of me?" It rumbles in a menacing tone. "Hahaha." he laughs a long and drawled out laugh. "I'll show you the meaning of me." His finger grows out into a sword. And aims for Professor McGonagal. With the courage I can muster up I bring my sword up and call the water. A large tower of water lifts me up to eye level and I jump.

Holding my sword I jam it into the eye. He tries to shake me free but I hold on with one hand and swing up so I'm standing on the head. My sword is still in his eye so I resort to my powers. I hold my hands above my head and a small whirl wind appears growing by the second. Out of the corner of my eye I see Medusa.

Oh My Gods. This isn't the boggart. This is Tartarus himself!

"Chiron!" I shout out in fear.

"Percy it's only a boggart." He says.

"No it's not, look over by the window!" I shout and everyone turns to see Medusa sneaking out.

Dumbledore, Snape, Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny then run in.

"What in the name of the gods!" Dumbledore breathes out.

"Annabeth iris message!" I ask desperate for help. I hear Harry calling the crucio curse over and over again. But obviously it's not working. Annabeth seems to get my message and seconds later Nico appears on the screan. I am distracted and Tartarus uses this to his advantage. I'm thrown from his head and land in a crowd of students. One I recognize as Neville Longbottom helps me up.

"Here have my sword." He says handing me a sword. I grimace.

"Sorry but it's not celestial bronze it won't work." I call behind my back while running forward. Hoisting myself up again with the water I grab my sword from his eye and aim for the other one. Missing I am again flung into the crowd. I see shadows appear and Nico steps out with The Seven. Thank the gods.

I look up to see a sword comming right into my chest. A hard pain presses into me and I hear the familiar scream of Annabeth ringing throughout the air. In one final attempt I swing my sword. I hit my target and my sword stays in the eye of Tartarus blinding him.

"Arggggg!" he screams holding his eye. "I will be back!" He promises. Darkness sweeps around and he dissappears.

A crying Annabeth runs over to me and places her hands on my chest. She lifts them up and they're covered in blood.

"No, no, no this can't happen Percy I need you!" She cries tears streaming down her face. "Someone bring water." She commands.

I lean up and kiss her a meaningful passionate kiss. And speak my last words, "Annabeth I love you."
