Demigods at Hogwarts (Book One)

I awake in an uncomfortable bed like thing. I look around confused, the last thing I remember is being in my cabin at Camp with Annabeth.

I look around again and realize that I am actually laying in a coffin--filled with water. What the heck? I try to prop myself up with my elbows and suddenly hundreds of hands are swarming, trying to help. I feel weak and am suddenly greatful for the help. I see the seven Nico, Chrion, Dumbledore and then my eyes land on my father. Weird, I would like to know where I am right now--i can't be at hogwarts, I've been gone for years, Annabeth and I are engaged now.

I give a nod to acknowledge my father. Then I see the next person. She has tears streaming down her face and she is mumbling my name over and over again. I hear Jason whisper to Piper, "at least he's not dead anymore."

I sit there stunned for a second and I'm unable to properly function, it's like my whole body shut off. I stare into Annabeth's eyes and then it hits me like a large truck--squishing me into the ground.

I died. Tartarus killed me. My 'life' with Annabeth had been my fantasy in Elysium. I remember meeting uncle Hades at the gates and he winks, as if he knows something is up. I open my mouth and speak the first words that come to my mind.

"Annabeth, I broke my promise, I swore to never leave you." I cry. "Please forgive me." Is all I can say.

I shut my eyes and waves of emotions roll through me like sets of breakers on the beach. I feel a warm pair of arms encircle me and look up to see Annabeth again. Together her and Poseidon help me out.

I come face to face with Annabeth out faces milimeters apart and I wrap my arms around her waist she smiles through her tears and happiness warps through me. She leans into my neck and puts her mouth near my ear, a warm fuzzy feeling runs through me as she whispers, "i forgive you!" I sigh in relief and pick her up swinging her around me in a circle, joy evident in her eyes she wraps her legs around my waist and kisses me, deep and meaningful, only leaving me wanting more.

A cheer erupts throughout the crowds--that I only just notice. I am literally the happiest man on the earth right now. Wolf whistles pierce the air and I just stand there grinning like a fool in love.

Suddenly a dark black mist seeps into the air like grapes squeezing through a juicer. A dark musty smell fills the air and it reminds me of the underworld. Then it hits me,

Hades.

I cheated death, me, I cheated death. He's comming to get me. I just got back I don't wanna leave yet. So I do the only reasonable thing at the moment. I panic.

Annabeth seems to notice my panic. And then she sees he black mist and being Athena's she figured it out straight away. The lord of the underworld materialize's in front of me and I lean heavily against Annabeth for support. He turns to Poseidon first, "Hello brother." A series of loud gasps and the word Hades echoes around the jetty. And he visibly flinches at the hate in their voices. "Perseus Jackson, due to your heroic act of true bravery, you conquered your worst fear, I have decided to give you a second chance." He says a soft voice--not something expected from the lord of the dead. "But second chances come at a price, that price is immortality. "

For a few seconds my mind shuts down Like an old man with dementure. My mouth hangs down to the floor and my eyes widen larger than saucers. I drop Annabeth's hand and waves it over to Hades just to check if I'm not dreaming. When my hand hits the hard surface of his clothing. I gulp and quickly retract it. Oh shit.
