Demigods at Hogwarts (Book One)

It's been a whole month since Voldemort was killed. The newspapers and the whole wizarding world went crazy. The shot of Percy and I holding the head of Voldemort went viral. It even got leaked into the muggle world and now we're wanted for questioning but neither of us really have any records.

I got a letter from Aunt Petunia and my Uncle telling me that I was wanted by the police and they told them that I haven't been in there lives for seven years.

Nice to know they care.

The hero shot. That's what it's being called. I think it's a pretty cool photo but Percy complains about it being too mundane. If he thinks that's boring then he lives in a seriously messed up environment.

But then he has been to hell and back, that's a little more than the average person.

Hermione broke her leg and the cast is covered in Ron's name just in case people didn't get the gist of it.

Annabeth woke up a few days after the war, nightmare free. Percy didn't leave her side the whole time.

And as for Ginny and I, we spent the week hiding from the press until everyone else was ready to talk.

But there's always an upside to being stuck in a closet with your girlfriend, if you get what I mean.

Today we graduate Hogwarts. After eight years of this school we have too leave, get a job, do something with our lives.

"HARRY!" Ron yells from the other side of the room at me. I turn around at look at him. He's gotten his uniform stuck. I roll my eyes. This is a very common, Ron thing to do.

I walk over and undo the button so he can fit his head through the hole."Thanks mate." He grins at me.

At that very moment Percy decides to walk in the door. "Woah, guys, I thought you both had girlfriends!" He jokes.

Ron jumps away and I just laugh at him stuttering random stuff about him not being Gay. "Ron, it's okay, I don't have a problem with gay guys. Your girlfriend might though." Percy winds him up more.

Ron narrows his eyes and ignores the both of us, which is probably a smart thing to do.

Five minutes later we're all ready for the graduation. The six of us walk in the doors and take a seat in the busy hall at the Griffindor table.

There are no winning house flags up yet wich is odd. I look over a Dumbledore who is grining behind his old eyes. Trying to hide something to do with the ceremony probably.

Professor Mcgonagal bangs her spoon against her glass calling for our attention. Instantly everyone quietens down and Dumbledore stands up.

"This year at Hogwarts has been like no other. We've discovered a new type of wizard, the demi-wizard. We've discovered new monsters and enemies. We've had a war. We've had our students killed. We've lost a grand total of 78 students who fought for our school. Today we remember them as we celebrate our graduation. We've had six students step up to the challenge and take on the most feared enemies. Those six students have saved our school. They've died for us, been made immortal for us. Broken bones for us. Been kidnapped for us. Broken the wizarding law for us. Today we celebrate them. We've had one of the best years for our OWLS results. We've had two students pass with the highest ever marks in the school. In fact highest ever in the last 300 odd years." Dumbledore says in his strong voice.

My chest swells with pride as I realise most of that was about my friends and I.

"This year it was extremely hard to pick a top student, two girls have been neck and neck all year. It come down to one little test in the end. Then once we realised what that test was about we ruled it out due to the fact it was her history. So we made it a tie. Can Annabeth Chase and Hermione Granger please rise." Dumbledore asks. Together the girl sitting next to eachother grin at eachother and stand up. The hall bursts into applause.

"Well done ladies." Dumbledore agrees.

"We also have a special award for two of the schools Heroes. Their shot of their victory went Viral in the world and hundreds praised them. Together they killed the evil and saved our school." He says and the cheers start already. "Harry Potter and Percy Jackson." He says my name along with Percy's. We grin and we know we've nailed it.

"You have also been named the two to make an impromptu speech about your year here." Dumbledore tells us. My mouth drops and Percy just shrugs.

Together we get up and gp to the top of the stage.

"Well this was unexpected, I was just waiting out for the feast." Percy says and the room cracks into laughter. Of course Percy would make a joke out of this.

"We've had an amazing year at Hogwarts this year. It's been a wild year. I've made two great new friends and together we brought down Tartarus and Voldemort..." I say before I'm interrupted by Percy

"Tartar Sauce and Mouldy Shorts." He corrects me and I roll my eyes as the rest of the students laugh again.

"Yes, them, anyway, have fun next year Hogwarts, I'm hoping you'll finally get a real year." I say and the school claps politely. Before Percy starts.

"Students and Teachers of Hogwarts, school of magic." Percy starts and I already laugh. "This year has had multitudes of new experiences for me, from wands and screaming letters to magical guys with no noses." He says getting a little laugh. "I don't really have much to say but I do know that this was literally a KILLER year." He says and the crowds burst into laughter and applause as Percy and I leave the stage.

"Thank you Harry, Percy, foe that very...different...speech." Mcgonagal says still slightly bewildered at it.

"And to finish this before the Feast that Percy is waiting for, we wil announce the winning house!" Dumbledore tells us and we all quiet down and look to the roof. The flags appear and flicker between all the houses before finally settling down of the red and yellow. The griffindor's cheer and the feast appears. Percy and Ron's eyes light up.

Let's just say that the year couldn't have ended better!
