PERCABETH story

when we got to Central Park it had started to rain but that was okay because we didn't get wet. We held hands the whole time. Partly so annabeth didn't get wet and partly because it felt good to know that she was there with me.

I led her to a place beyond where the mortals could see. There were candles and food all set out. It didn't get rained on because a canopy of trees protected them from the rain. Annabeth and I sat down for awhile and enjoyed the silence.
"Seaweed brain...this place is amazing. How-how did you-?" She trailed off.
"Grover." I said like that explained everything.
"Well don't let me forget to tell him thank you." She responded.
When we finished eating the food(most of which was blue) I asked her to take a walk with me.
We went down towards the lake and I stopped her under a tree.
"What is it, seaweed brain?" She asked me obviously curious.
"Annabeth?" I asked her.
"Yes,percy?" She responded. I waited a moment sure that this was the time to ask her.
"Annabeth, I love you so much. You've grown to be a part of me and no matter how stupid or cheesy this is I want you to know its true. I don't know where I'd be without you wise girl. We both experienced so much. And you're the reason I move forward. Why I hated the fact that you could've become a hunter of Artemis. Why I didn't want to become immortal," the words just started to flow out and i meant ever word," you're what holds me to the earth. You're the one thing I will always remember. You're the one person I would go to Tartarus and back with. Youre the one for me and I love you so much. Annabeth chase, will you marry me?" I got on one knee and took the ring out of my pocket.
i just noticed annabeth was crying. How did I not notice before?
she had one hand cupped over her mouth the other still holding on to my hand. She shook her head yes, stilling crying. I smiled at her and slipped the ring onto her finger and I got up from one knee. And hugged her. "I live you, annabeth chase and I always will. Now, will you come somewhere special with me?" I asked her.
"Oh percy-" she started but I interupted her when I kissed her. I dragged her to the lake and took her into the lake.

And it it was for sure and forever the best underwater kiss of all time.
