PERCABETH story

Percy did the respectful thing first.
He kneeled almost immediately. "Athena. Poseidon." I Didn't want to kneel I knew what was going to happen in this mother daughter session and it wasn't like I gained any more love for Athena once she called me a failure.
But I did as percy did and kneeled.
"Get up, children. There is no need to kneel." Poseidon said. He sounded calm but he still looked angry. Athena looked like she disagreed with what Poseidon said.
Percy and I rose.
"Dad. Why would you have Dionysus come um retrieve us from camp half-blood" perch asked. Poseidon raised his eyebrows ," I think you know, my son. But I have something to say. I'm okay. I am not angry. Annabeths mother seems to disagree. Don't you Athena?" Percy and I stared there in shock.
"Poseidon, you will back me up on this. I will not let any son of yours marry any of my daughters!" Athena yelled.
Something in me ticked. Looking back on it I don't regret it at all.
"Hi. Um, if I remember correctly you said I was no daughter of yours and that I was a failure. So why would you care if someone who's no daughter of yours and is a failure marry a son of Poseidon?" Athena face spread with hurt then it hardened again but for once the goddess seemed speechless.
"Athena!" A woman walked in from the opposite side of the thrown room. She was purely beautiful. Percy look from me to the lady and seem majorly confused.
"Aphrodite." I said.
"Hello child." She smiled.
She turned her focus to Athena.
"Athena when did this happen. What is she talking about?" Aphrodite questioned.
"Aphrodite, you can leave now. This is none of your concern!" Athena said. Aphrodite looked like she was sincerely offended. Then her expression hardened.
"Athena, this is all of my concern. Alas, I am the goddess of love and by the name of all love I forbid you to interfere."
Athena looked like Aphrodite just said a curse. Percy looked at his dad for explanation. While Athena was rambling one to Aphrodite who listened calmly Poseidon became human size.
"Children. You owe Aphrodite a great deal. Aphrodite has given her blessing. Once in a while Zeus would let her have one blessing in which she could wish one thing for the couple. Aphrodite just used one of those on you. I believe her last one started the Trojan war. Athena can no longer be a interference. Congratulations my children. Let me know when the wedding is." And with that he disappeared in a flash.
i turned towards Aphrodite.
"ma'dame Aphrodite. Thank you." I said sincerely. "Could you like pop us back to camp half-blood?"
Aphrodite smiled.
"Of course my children. You will forever have my blessing." And then I closed my eyes not wanting to let Athena see me get emotional.
And when she opened her eyes, her and percy were standing on top of the Hermes dinner table with everyone staring at them like they fell from the sky.
"What'd we miss?" Percy smiled. And hopped off the table.
