Island Life

I said my goodbyes and loaded up the ship. They all told me not to, but deep down, they knew I had to. Calypso is the only person I've truly loved since my mother. I wouldn't let her slip away. I saluted my friends and pulled up the anchor. I ran to the wheel and began my journey.
I had been at the wheel for two days. I wanted to get to Calypso as fast as I could. Suddenly, I felt myself fall onto the deck and pass out. I dreamed of her beautiful face looking at me. My sunshine. Then I saw my mother, "Leo, you can be with your love, or lose you life." "Mother!" She faded away. I'd seen her in my dreams before, but I never got to tell her I really loved her. Now she left me with so many questions. I'd do anything for Calypso, but lose my life? Leave her on that island? Never see my friends! No, no, no. I will rescue Calypso at whatever cost.
