Mending the past

Leo's P.O.V
This all seems like a trap. But I guess my friends trust him, but I still think something is up. That's why I made some walkie-talkies. They can contact us on their walkie talkies even if they are in a different time period. Well, I had to catch Annabeth and Thalia before they make their descent.
I found Annabeth, Thalia, and Percy Jackson ready to go. Fortunately, I got 3 walkie talkies with me and I met up with them so I could give them my new invention.
"Hey guys! Just in case you guys can use these walkie-talkies to contact me and we'll try to do the best we can to help." I handed each of them a walkie talkie
"Thanks, Leo, we'll miss your funny jokes," Percy said smiling.
I smiled back, then I ran off to find the others just in case so they can receive notifications from the first three "victims" of time traveling.

Annabeth's P.O.V
I don't get why Leo's concerned about it, we will only be gone for a little bit, right? Well, I guess he thinks before-hand so I guess these walkie talkies will be back up. Percy, Thalia and I walked to the Camp Half-Blood woods, so there would be no interruptions. We walked there to find Hermes there meditating, I assume that time traveling would take lots of effort and we were lucky for him to be using his power. Hermes felt our presence and he stood up and a huge swirling circle formed in front of us. He didn't give us the signal yet, which meant the portal wasn't ready. If you jumped in it too early, you would end up in the wrong time, which no one wanted. The circle kept growing bigger and bigger, we had to take a few steps back. The hole was black and I wasn't sure if it was safe or not but I would be with Seaweed Brain. Hermes motioned us to jump in so I grabbed Percy's and Thalia's hand and we jumped in the black hole together.

Notes

The first victims commence! Any comments on it? I still haven't found a solution but when the time comes I'll figure something out.
