Keira glances at Malfoy, who looks like he has a big ego and is rich. She hesitantly takes a sip of her pumpkin juice, which surprisingly tastes good.

Malfoy looks over with contempt. "What are you looking at?" he asks with obvious disgust in his voice. "Are you another one with filthy blood?"

Avalon sits down across from Malfoy, rolling her eyes. "How about I knock you off that high horse?"

Malfoy looks at Avalon. "Who are you? You don't seem like a pure blood. I suggest you leave." he says coolly.

"Pure blood? If that's what you are I'm proud to be a half blood."

Malfoy smirks. "Some of you blood may be pure, but it has been tainted. I have a higher status than you, I'm Malfoy. And if I hear any word of you discriminating pure bloods, my father shall hear of it."

"If you want such a pretty pureblood family, stop slicking your hair back so much." She smirked back.

Malfoy looks highly affronted. "Excuse me? My hair is perfectly fine. You, of course, have no manners. But of course, I would expect that from such a lowly person." he ends with a smirk.

"Manners? I have more than you ever will, people like you give Slytherin a bad name." Avalon takes a drink of pumpkin juice, "Just because my dad is a Muggle doesn't mean I wasn't raised right."

"Clearly, the Muggles raise people strangely, because the pure blood way of life is much more...refined than that of a Muggle's." Malfoy says.

She huffs, "Compared to you, the Muggle boys are like gods." She says, not so quietly to herself.

"Gods? Ha!" Malfoy snorts out a bit of pumpkin juice through his nose, which he doesn't notice. "You're wrong, I'm the god here."

"See you in potions, Malfoy." She gets up, leaving the dining hall to get to her next class.

Keira just stares for a moment, processing all of the information as Malfoy leaves too. "These guys are crazy," she mutters.

"What are you going to do, Ravenclaw? Read on ways to curse me?" Malfoy taunts.

Sadie raises an eyebrow. "Do you want to be on the receiving end of a curse? You seem to be asking for it."

"My father would know, and so would the Ministry of Magic. Would you like for that to happen, mudblood?" He snapped back, standing up. He held up his wand to cast a spell on Sadie when Avalon shouted, "Expelliarmus!"

Sadie watches Malfoy as calmly as she can, while her mind is screaming at her to curse Malfoy.

Malfoy gets up, shooting a glare at Avalon, "I'd expect more from my own house." He turns to Sadie, pointing his wand at the book next to her, "Reducto!"

Sadie's wand starts shooting out sparks. "Furnunculus!" she yells.

Malfoy breaks out in boils and feels his face. He lets out a high pitched yelp and dashes from the room. Avalon holds back a laugh and high-fives Sadie. "Nice."

Sadie grins, but the grin fades when Professor Snape says, "Detention for you, Ms. Payne, I think?"

Avalon frowns and raises her hand, "Professor, I understand Malfoy is one of you best students, but he's been pushing her to the limits for the past few weeks and blatantly challenged her to curse him. If anything, I would get detention as well for using a spell to disarm him."

Snape looks back at her. "Are you asking for detention?" A few Slytherin kids snicker.

"No, Sir. I'm simply trying to give you background information before making such decisions." She felt her knees shake behind the table, but kept a poker face. Snape scared her.

"I will not deduct points from your house this time, but remember that you will not make my decisions for me. Understand, Ms. Stevenson?" His voice is monotone. "But I will take five points from Ravenclaw," he adds, making the Ravenclaw students glare at Sadie.

"Yes, Sir." She sits down, "Does she still get detention?" Avalon was hopeful.

Snape ignores Avalon's question since she didn't raise her hand and continues the lesson.

She sighs, "I take that as a yes." Avalon mumbles to herself. She glances at Sadie, "I tried."

Sadie looks down at her desk. She had always been the most rebellious of the Ravenclaws, and the most easily angered.

Malfoy re-entered, smirking. "I trust Professor Snape gave you detention." He says to Sadie. Avalon turns around and puts her wand at his throat. "Another word, Malfoy..." She sneers. His smirk wavers slightly before saying; "Word." Avalon punches him in the nose, "Incarcerous!" Malfoy's robes bind him and he can't move, and falls on the floor.

Keira walks over to Malfoy and mutters a spell under her breath, unbinding him. "Are you...alright?"

The ropes disappeared and Malfoy got up, seeing Keira. "Excuse you."

She raises an eyebrow. "You're Draco Malfoy, I presume?"

"Yes, now what do you want?" His annoyance grew, she better not be another mudblood cursing him.

Keira sees the expression on his face and smiles slightly. "I won't curse you, you know."

"Good, I can't believe she." He pointed at Avalon, "Would curse someone from her own house. And insult me as well."

"She's not loyal to Slytherin. And she talks to mudbloods," Keira hisses.

"Gonna head up to the guy's dorm and rock the bed?" Avalon sneered.

Keira frowns at Avalon and shakes her head. "Ew, no way."

Draco felt his face flush with embarrassment and anger at the girl. "What did you want, again? And do you mind telling me your name?"

Keira feels her face flush too, and holds out her hand. "Keira. Keira Augustine."

He shakes it, "Pureblood, I presume?"

"Yes," she replies.

While Keira and Malfoy are talking, Sadie stares at her cauldron before leaning over to Avalon. "Polyjuice Potion." she whispers.

Avalon raises an eyebrow, "Who are we going to be?"

"Keira and...Pansy Parkinson." Sadie decides.
