A new life
Chapter 4
- Go to the anual Friday night bonfire.
- Go on a date with one California girl.
- Make a joke about principal Mideas's name to his face.
- Go cliff diving.
- See an on campus movie.
"Uh okay then." I responded.
Nico looked sorry for me. Beckendorf looked like he couldn't wait to see my embarrassment in a friendly kind of way- that didn't even make sense to me but if you had friends like I did in New York you know what I mean. And Grover just looked like he was tagging along and didn't care either way.
The room we were in was odd. Near the front of the room there was two beds on opposite walls facing each other.
Then towards the back. There was the dent in the room so it wasn't a perfect square. There was another bed there which was simple and unmade and on the back wall the right there was another bed. I saw the bathrooms on my way here and yeah it was a small room for four guys but big for a dorm room.
"So which one do I start with? Also which bed is mine?" I asked.
"Anyone you can do them out of order. And that one against the back wall." Beckendorf told. I nodded and moved my stuff over to the bed. I slowly unpacked trying to procrastinate.
"But there is a anual Friday bonfire tonight. So you could get one done even before your first day here." Grover added.
"Will you guys be going?" I asked.
They nodded.
"Okay then I'll go." I don't know why I really said yes I just wanted to sleep but I also wanted a cheeseburger. I realized how hungry I was.
"One more thing. Where can a guy get a cheeseburger around here?" They smiled and looked at each other.
"Follow us." Grover said. So for the third time today I followed people blindly with no idea where I was going.
