"I trust you more then I trust myself. What's your plan. " I say. She ran over to the sphinx and says," I thought that you were smart. Don't you know how to count. We have you outnumbered. But we will make you a deal. Is it true that sphinxs love riddles. Well I challenge you to a riddle battle. The first person to get a question wrong loses. If you win you can kill Percy. But if I win., he gets to kill you. "

the monster thought it over for a minute and said. " deal. I go first. It starts the day and ends the end , its the middle of the middle. What is it. "

the sphinx didn't answer her for a couple minutes. I thought we got her then she said," its a candle. Good try. My turn. There was a man and he went for a run. He started at home and at the first corner he turned left, at the second corner he turned left and at the third corner he turned left. He is approaching home when he sees two men with black masks on. What is he doing"
Reyna didn't say anything for a long time. But finally she said," he is playing baseball. Good try though. I have five legs, three arms, and six eyes. What am I ." I could tell that she got her. We stood there for maybe ten minutes before she answered.

" your a spider. Wait no no no . That's not my guess. Um ......a...um...caterpillar."the monster had no ideas what it was.
" a liar. " said Reyna. " what."

"I am lying. I don't have five legs, three arms, and six eyes. I am a liar. Percy, if you will. Kill the beast. " said Reyna. I can tell that didn't make the sphinx happy.

" you tricked me. You cheated. I win. You cheated ." it shouted at the top of it lungs. I ran up to it and cut it in half. I watched it as it faded away. I walked up to Reyna and hugged her. I never knew she was so good at riddle.

" I can honestly say that I'm shocked. I didn't know you were so good at riddle. " I said to her. She started to laugh." what. What's so funny."I asked.

" I'm not good at riddle. But annabeth is. And it just so happens that I have an earpiece in and Annie is wearing the other one. The reason it took so long to answer the questions was the connection is really bad. I could barely hear her. So you should be hugging Annie. She just saved our buts. " she said. I laughed with her. The others came out of the restaurant with two tacos. Hazel gave one taco to me and the other to Reyna.

" to our heroes. " she said. We all took a bite from our tacos.
