Jason was right, there were maybe a hundred monsters at the entrance to camp half blood. The whole camp plus some Romans that were there for a visit were in the middle of fighting them when we got there. They were stabbing them and hitting them with arrows but they wouldn't die. Thalie was shocking them, literally. No matter how hard they tried it wasn't working. Then out of now where a minotaur attacked thalie. And of course Jason jumped into the fight to help his sister. Piper followed him then Leo, hazel, frank, Reyna,Nico then annabeth. I thought that they would be able to hold it off so I went to help the stolls with there monster. But then I heard Jason cry out in pain and piper scream. I ran as fast as I could only to see jason on the ground not moving . Piper ran over to him and put his head in her lap. I looked at the minotaur, it had scars all over its body. It should be dead. I could tell that thalie was mad because a small lighting storm grew over her head. She attacked it with lightning, Leo with fire, Nico and hazel both used there powers on it to but it didn't work. So I jumped in. We fought it together for maybe five minutes but it felt like one . " all campers retreat. All campers retreat. " said Chiron over some speakers ." frank, Leo get Jason to the camp. Annabeth help piper. Everyone get back. I'll hold it of." I said . " no we're not leaving you. " said annabeth helping piper stand up . " I'll be fine. I have beaten this guy before I can do it again. " I said. " what. You fought a minotaur. And won. How do you know its the same one." said Reyna." one of its horns is smaller then the other. I cut if of five years ago. I guess it never fully grew back." I said. " go. Now all of you. Get back to the camp." they listened this time. Even thalie." good luck Percy. " said thalia. The next thing I knew I was the only one fighting. The minotaur ran towards me and I swerved left just in time. I hit him on his back with riptide as he passed me. It started to turn into dust. I don't get it, it wouldn't die earlier. Why now. The only difference is that I hit it . I got my souvenir and slowly started to make my way back to the camp. Well I was walking I thought about the first time I faced that beast. Good times. And how I beat it when no one else cod. Its like the hellhound at the restaurant. I'll figure it out later.
