Stare

Connor and I were planning the prank of a lifetime. It would target the whole camp, not just one camper or even one cabin. The entire camp would be freaked!
It wasn't a horribly complex plot, but it would be difficult. We had to convince another camper to help us with it. No, not really help, more so, do the prank themselves Because we had the idea, but it was impossible for us to do it.
"Alright, Travis. So when do you think we should go down and try to convince her? "
We were sticking spider nests in the Athena cabin while they were all out doing camp activities.
I thought for a second. " How about tonight after dinner? That way, people shouldn't be getting in our way, and she'll be caught off guard, thinking that the day was over, " We nodded in agreement and placed one last nest in Annabeths pillow case.
That night, after the singalong, we stole off to the edge of the woods, off to Rachel Dare's awesome cave-on-the-outside-party-pad-on-the-inside personal summer home.
" Nock! Nock! " Connor called from the green, torch - lit spooky cave entrence. We heard a yelp, something break, and an annoyed growl come from the inside. I actually winced when she started yelling at us.
" I don't care who you are or what you want! I am busy and you are going to leave me alone!" I wiggled my eyebrows at Connor and did my best imitation of Percy. " Oh, um, okay. Uh, I'll just talk to you later, Rachel. Erm, bye, "
Connor gave me a thumbs up and an impressed nod.
Rachel flew out of her cave looking rather flustered, then noticed who was actually out there. " Oh. It's you two," she was obviously annoyed with us for bothering her, and then tricking her into thinking that percy wanted to talk to her about something in private.
"Whatever you want, I'm busy. Talk to me tomorrow, or, better yet, " she smiled sweetly, " don't, "
But, Connor and I had prepared for this. "alright then. I guess we can't slice a deal with you. Really, it's too bad," Connor nodded sadly. " We could give you a better shot at percy, "
