ocean wars

"I can't belive Chiron let us do this" I say as I walk along the beach slowly, holding annabeths hand.

"Probably because he trusts us more than a few other people, who I can name that we won't get into fights." (cough clarisse) she answers calmly.

"It's so beautiful." She says staring at the shimmering sand beneath our feet. We find a comfortable log to sit on and stare out at the ocean.The waves lightly crash down onto shore. I start to feel hungry so I say to Annabeth who is now leaning against my shoulder,

"How would you like some food." she replys back to me in a sarcastic tone tone,

"That would be quite nice, but where would you get it from seaweed brain?"

"dad obviously "

"But he's all the way out in the oh..." she starts . So i stand up and shout out to the ocean,

"yo dad" Annabeth nudges me,

"You don't address the sea lord like that."

"oops, my father Poseidon lord of the sea, Annabeth chase daugter of Athena and my girlfriend." behind me i see annabeths cheeks flush red. "And I Perseus jackson your son would like some food." I go and sit back down and wait for our food to arrive a wave comes down and safly on shore is a picnic bascit we dig through until we are stuffed.

We sit on the edge of the water talking about the latest gossip when i see a small black thing crawl up annabeths leg, it's a spider i point it out to Annabeth she starts to scream and wave her leg around and i remember a thing about spiders and her family ever heard the story about Archane? Yea well if you know it then you know her panic. I tell her to calm down while i flick it off her leg. It was fine once we got it off but man that was chaotic.

We decide to sun bathe and get a tan. Apollo helps us do just that. Then after about half an hour of laying down and gossiping we decide to sit up and look at the wave the really big waves "DADDDDD!!!!"
