Noah and I sat down at the fith cohorts table along with the rest of the cohort members. our table is placed at the end of the mess hall away from the rest of the cohorts(naturally of course).

I took a glance at my friends, none of them were eating except for me.I sighed and took another bite out of my perfect New Yourk pizza.

"So.. whats the plan?" I asked with as much enthusiasm as i could find.

Noah turned and looked at me with one raised eyebrow as if to say: are you stupid you already know the awnser to that question! Which i did.

Noah sighed and turned back to his plate he rested his head against hand and began to twirl his spagehtti around with his fork.

"Lose..Again." he added

I turned around and stared at the empty pedistal that sttood in the middle of the room. The fith cohort had been the greatest until some idiot decided to lose the entire legions eagle on a prophecy that wasnt even his.

a few minutes had passed when a bell rang signalling for everyone to meet in the feilds for war games.

I stood up and brushed the crumbs off of his shirt. Noah and i had walked aboput two steps when Reyna, and jason (camp jupiters praetors) walked into the mess hall. They wore golden chest armor and purple togas as the mark of a praetor.

When the entire room was quiet and all eyes were on them Reyna spoke.

"Tonight we will be participating in the war games!" she said boldly. "The first and second will be defending and the rest of you ... well good luck."

"Good luck!" Noah remarked to me as we walked to the feilds with the rest of the fith cohort.

"Thats probably a huge Joke!" he shouted. Noah had the same expression he would get on his face when someone decided to make the dumb move and call him short.

"Hey lighten up." I joked around with him. "We might just have a chance." I elbowed him and smirked.

Noah rolled his eyes and was silent the rest of the walk there.

when the games started the entire fith cohort sprinted towards the giant stone barracade that we were suposted to get past. We raised our sheilds obove our heads all clomped together dodging spears swords and anything else that waas thrown at us.

When we got to the gates i climed ontop of hannibal the elephant and threw a grappling hook over the top of the ledge. Noah jumped onto the rope and clibed to the top.

I followed him along with the rest of the cohort. when i got to the top it was a mess the entire second cohort that was defending the barracade were under ground with only their heads above the surface so that they could breathe. I turned and looked at Noah who had his hands on his knees and was panting.

Man i want that power! I told myself. i walked over to Noah and handed him his scythe that he asked me to hold while we climbed up the ladder.

He smiled at me and nodded in thanks.

I looked down the other side of the barracade too see the first cohort defending the flag... Actually most of them were just sitting around playing Go Fish.

I turned around to my team mates and made hand signals that said they under estimated us its time for an ambush!

They all nodded I turned around to see a bow and arrow with a box of matches. I threw them to logan was a son of apollo and immedeaitly he under stood what i meant.

Logan lit the arrow on fire and shot it high into the air and soon after that the third,and fourth cohorts came running to aid us in battle.

Our team sprinted into battle along with our fellow comrads. after about ten minutes of fighting i sprinted towards the flag when something terrible happened.

It just stood their in the woods and stared at me the entire battle seemed to go quiet. I took my spear and threw it at the monster. No use it caught my spear and broke it with one hand.

"No.." I said quietly. "Get away from me!" i screamed at it but once again the beast stood directly infront of me.

It took a step formard and i stumbled back and fell over something I looked down to see what it was. A dead body someone from the first cohort had been murdered.

At first i saw nothing else but then i saw what had killed that person. A scythe with a black blade.

Noah. I thought. I glanced back up to see that nothing there but Jason.

"Are you all ri-" his words were cut off when he saw what was in front of me. soon after his eyes filled with rage

"WHO DID THIS!!" he boomed. he waved his hand in order for me to move aside and i did.

Then some one steped forward and pointed to Noah who was standing in the front row.

"Thats his blade!" he shouted while clenching one fist and holding his gladius in the other. "YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!"

the boy charged at Noah sword raised high. I sheathed a sword from the preson who stood next too me.
I stood in front of Noah and our blades collided together.

"Dont you touch him." I said loud enough that only he could hear. I then quickly elbowed him in the face so that he stumbled backwards.

He slashed my arm and i cut his leg. I dissarmed him and pointed my sword to his throat.I nodded my head to where he stood originaly. He looked furious but quickly walked away back to where he stood.

I dropped the sword and sprinted back to Noah. He looked at me in shock and looked like he was about to cry.

I knelt down on my knees so that i could see him better. He grabbed my arm and soon his scared look turned into an evil one an evil look with red peircing eyes.

Noah turned and looked at jason but he didnt axactly turn you see he floated.

"No." he said his voice was low and wispery but still loud. "I did it."

I froze when i realized who was talking. "Stay away from me!" I screamed

everyone took a step back when It turned too me. Noah waved out his hand and i couldnt move. The thing slowly hovered towards me. it stoped infront of me and raised out its hand. One long talon grew out of Noah's hand. I started breathing heavily but i bit my lip trying not to scream.

The talon forced its way through my skin and i nearly screamed. why does this hurt worse than before! I asked my self and then i looked downand sure enough we were surrounded in a pool of blood.

I heard someone scream in the large croud and i was preety sure i would too.

"No." It said " Because your next son of Mania."

I stood their for five seconds then fainted.
