what if they fell

I get to the hospital and I see piper, hazel, frank, Nico, and will standing at the door. " where. Where is she. Annabeth . " I say out of breath.

" Jason , how did you find him. I looked everywhere. " said hazel.

" no time to talk. I need to see her. Where is annabeth. " I say anxious.

" look Percy. Annabeth , I think we should talk somewhere else. " said will.

" no . I need to talk to annabeth. I want to make sure she is okay. "

" Percy, no . We need to talk . Before , you see annabeth. Lets go to your cabin and talk. And yes we really need to. " Nico says. He takes my arm. I pull away and run past them. They try to grab me but they all fail. I see a body with a sheet over it laying on the bed.

" no. No no no no. " I say. Tears fill my eyes. I pull back the sheet. Annabeths dead body is covered in scraps and blood. One big cut was across her stomach. I reach out and touch her face. She's ice cold and ghostly pale. " annabeth."

the others walk over to me. Everyone but Nico and will look at annabeths body. There eyes tear up. " Percy, I...im so sorry. " piper says. She pulls me in for a hug. Then I loose it. Tears run down my face and I cry historically into her shoulder.

" you...you didn't know. " I ask.

" if I did, I wouldn't have let you see. " she says.

" Nico, will , you knew. Didn't you. "
" yes. We did. Will was the doctor who made sure she was, well dead. I felt her pass. I'm sorry. " Nico said.

" yeah. Whatever. " I say. " look I have to, um I have to go. I just, see yall later. "
I run out of the hospital. I run straight to the lake. When I get there I go into the into the water . I fall to my knees. I stay there for an hour before I hear someone behind me. I turn around . I wipe all the tears from my face. Its my dad and Athena.
