What Happens Now?

Senior year. It's gonna be a mess. But, a fun mess I'm sure. I have Annabeth and all my friends! The seven, Nico, Calypso, Will, and I are all going to Goode High school together! It's gonna be great.... I hope.

Everyone is coming today. School just started last week and I had to wait a week for my friends to come. But, they're all coming today. I was at my locker, practically bouncing with excitement. I couldn't wait to see Annabeth and the others. Suddenly, a hand touched my shoulder. I thought it was Annabeth, but when I turned around, I saw the school's popular snob, Jordan.

"Ugh, Jordan what do you want?!" I said, exasperated.

"Oh ya know, the usual," she began. Oh gods, I knew where this was going. "You, me and that Italian restaurant tonight. What do ya say?" Jordan gave me a smile, showing her blinding white teeth.

"How many times do I have to tell you?!" I reply. "I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND." I stretched out every syllable in the word "girlfriend" to get in her head.

"Yeah, yeah," Jordan said. "I bet I'm way better than her," she stomped off.

"Finally," I muttered turning back to my locker. In about thirty seconds I felt someone running back up behind me and hugging me.

"Aghhh," I say turning around. "Annabeth don't scare me like that!"

"Sorry seaweed brain," she replies, laughing. "I just missed you. I kissed her forehead and closed my locker. I then grasped her hand and walked to class. While walking, I saw Jordan staring at us with her mouth open. I just smiled and looked away, but on the inside, I was laughing like crazy.

Annabeth's POV

I opened my locker and grabbed my lunch. I tried to hurry so there would be room to sit at the table. I closed my locker and turned around to see a girl with long, wavy dark hair and piercing blue eyes.

"Uh.... Hi?" I say.

"So, you're Jackson's girlfriend?" She asks. I stiffen up. How did she know this? I relax a little and say, "Yes, yes I am."

"Huh," The girl says, examining my body up and down, like she was noticing every flaw. "I'm suprised you were able to get a guy like Percy! Please, I'd be suprised if you got a date with the biggest nerd in school, you'd go perfect together!"

"Ahem, Percy is my boyfriend. He loves me and I love him," I reply.

"Oh, so you think you're smart eh? Well, I bet I could get Jackson in a heartbeat. He'd never stick with a loser like you!" She says. Before I can reply, the girl takes my lunch, throws it on the ground, pushes me against the lockers, (making me slide down them) and runs away. Just when she did that, Percy turned the corner.

"Oh my gods! Annabeth are you okay!" He said, running up to me and offering me his hand. I take it and pull myself up.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I reply, brushing myself off. "Just some rude girl."

"Oh, Jordan?" Percy says. "Ugh, she's been hitting on me all week. If she ever does anything to you again, I swear, I will punch her all the way down to the underworld.

I force out a laugh. "Thanks Percy, but there's no need for that." I grasp his hand and we head to lunch.
