50 Shades of Sea Green

I glanced at Annabeth. She met my gaze and winked back. All of the demigods at Camp Half-
Blood were singing songs around the campfire, which was burning at a carefree yellow. I couldn’t help but stare and smile at Annabeth, knowing what we were about to do tonight. Gods, she was so freakin’ hot. The mood was fantastic. It had been a few weeks since Gaea was defeated and everyone I know is doing better than they ever have before.

I looked over at Will and Nico holding hands and grinning in the firelight, and to Leo and Calypso sitting in the back behind Annabeth, making out. Holy Hero, get a room! Piper had her head leaned against Jason’s shoulder and was smiling as if they were sharing a private joke. Even Drew looked happy, holding hands with a new Ares camper named Devon.

Finally, it was time to get to bed and everyone started heading towards their cabins, except Annabeth. She slipped on her invisibility cap and walked beside me to the Poseidon cabin. “You ready for tonight Seaweed Brain?” I could tell there was a colossal grin on my face. “More ready than I’ve ever been, Wise Girl.”
