I woke up the next day feeling so much better. The only thing that still hurt, was my bite. My stomach was hurting, but I didn't feel like throwing up again. Annabeth was lying down in her sleeping bag. She rolled over to face me. Her eyes met mine, and she smiled.
"What's so funny?"
"You talk in your sleep, Mr. Jackson," she laughed again.
"Do I?" id I ever talk in my sleep?
"You wanna hear what you said, or do you not care."
"Le's hear it," I said awkwardly. I could hear the birds chirping in the distance.
"You were mumbling about blue candy, then you mumbled something about me." Annabeth blushed. Oh gods.. I had a dream that I kissed Annabeth .. I placed my hand over my face to hide the embarassment.
"I'm sorry," I mumbled. "It's what my brain did, I didn't do it. I-" she cut me off.
"Shut up, and come here, Seaweed Brain." I did as she said, and she grabbed my face. I was so confused I could have died, but I knew what to do. I pulled her in and kissed her passionatley. Me heart raced, like a train, getting faster and faster. She kissed me right back. I had known her for a really long time, and liked her for a while too. As we pulled away, she looked into my eyes and smiled. Until then, I had never noticed just how beautiful her gray eyes were. The were shining like shooting stars, as the sun beamed down on us. Okay, what's happening? See what love and such does to the human, or in my case, demigod brain? Woaah.
"Percy," Annabeth said, her smile gone."I think I'm gonna-" Annabeth collapsed unexpectedly. My gasp was almost as loud as her head hitting the ground.
"Anna-" I tried to say, but my voice was so scared and shaky, I couldn't. "Annabeth!" I dove down next to her. I tried shaking her. Nothing. I'll send an Iris message to Chiron! He'll know what to do.
I managed to make a rainbow with my water bottle, and said, "Oh, Iris, goddess of Rainbows. Please accept my offering." I threw in a drachma, and said, "Chiron, Camp Half-Blood." Chiron appeared in front of me, and looked at me.
"Percy," he said.
"Chiron, Annabeth just passed out. Maybe it was all my fault, but I'm really freaking out, and I don't know what to do, please help!" I said so fast I couldn't even tell what I said.
"Slow down."
'Annabeth! She passed out!"
"Did you try giving her so Nectar, or Ambrosia?"
"I don't have any."
'Yes. I put some inside your bag. There should be some."
"Chiron, you're amazing!" I screamed. I raced to my bag, and found a bottle of nectar. Than some ambrosia. Trying to get her to drink it when she was knocked out, was a challenge. Finally, I did. I waited, but nothing happened. Abotu a minute later, she was sitting up.
"What happened?"
"You fainted," I said, worried. "Thank you, Chiron." I destroyed the rainbow, and looked back to Annabeth.
"Wad that because of what I did?"
"No. I liked that," she smiled, and grabbed my hand. Maybe this quest wasn't so bad after all.
