The World Through My Eyes

Lying on the ground with a bruised jaw while Chiron does what looks like chasing imaginary butterflies is definitely a first. "Percy!" Annabeth whimpers as she rushes to my side. "Yea but I think I figured out who/what she is." I comment as I rub my Mandible.
"Yea me too" she agrees. She helps me to my feet and questions the new girl "You're of Titan descent or Theia to be exact, aren't you?". With a concerned then smug face the girl, Kori, answers "You catch on fast."
"I bet you couldn't do that again." I challenge stretching my arms above my head. "Oh really now didn't we just and we this question." She smirks. "That was when I thought I could use my eyes but I guess I'll just use my other senses. I mean come on what kind of hero would I be if I had to rely on my sight?" I giggle.
"Ok but I won't pull my punches this time." She grins as she balls up her fist. Closing my eyes and adjusting to the baseline wind direction and speed I sense her movement to my left and step backwards to dodge her movement. I hear her grunt as she tries to punch me once more but I simply side-step it again. "How *pant* are you *pant* doing that?" She tiredly inquires.
I open my eyes to see her sprawled out on the ground in exhaustion. "What makes you strong makes you weak." I explain adding "you rely on you opponent being helpless while blind but what if you come across someone who isn't helpless without sigh?"
