The Devil in I

"Do you smell that?" Touka whispers in my ear. I start to smell the air of the new customers. They smell like human but with something else that I've never smelt before. It was refined but powerful.
"You guys aren't human or fully human, at least, are you?" I investigate. "Why would you ask that?" The obvious leader of the group's voice dripped concern. "Answer the question." I demand in a calm but firm tone. I could see Touka nod out of the corner of my eye.
"No we're not. Now my turn what are you?" The girl I assume to be the leaders girlfriend ask. "Why don't I close up shop, make coffee, and we can sit down and talk.
We all sit down at a table as I set a large tray of coffee mugs. "Well I'm Percy and this is Annabeth, Jason, Leo, Hazel, Piper, Calypso, and Frank." Percy explains as he points to each person as he says their name.
"I guess it's only fair if you know our names. I'm Kaneki and this is Touka." I say as a wrap my arm around her. "Onii-san" hinami shouts she jumps into my arms. "And this is Hinami." I add as I give hinami a big hug.
"So you never explained what you are." I comment as I sit hinami on my lap. "Well, we're Children of the the Greek gods." Jason mutters. "Wait the Greek gods are real?" Troika quickly questions " that's hard to believe." She finishes. "Well, consider what we are it's not that far fetched." I remark. "What exactly are you?" Piper asks. I sigh and look up at the ceiling then respond with "If you tell anyone we'll be forced to kill you.". Their faces shift to confusion. "We're ghouls." I finish. "And that means?" Percy prods. "We. Well, we can't get nutrition from traditional food." I answer. "So what do you eat." He continues to inquire.
"We eat people." I sigh. "You eat people?!?" Annabeth shouts. "Keep your voice down!" I plead. "But you eat people." She whimpers balling up in Percy's arm. "Onii-chan, are we that scary." Hinami cries into my chest. "No, it just came as a shock to them. Isn't that right?" I say trying to calm down Hinami.
"Yea we're sorry if we seemed mean. We've seen a lot scarier things." Piper reassures. "So you think. Even if we don't look it our anatomy is a lot different." I explain. "What do you mean?" Frank perks up. As I pull out a kitchen knife I remark "stab me with it." "I'm not even going to question it anymore." Percy replies as he takes the knife out of my hand. He lunges with the blade like seasoned veteran right at my abdomen. Everyone ,excluding Touka and Hinami, cringes as the blade nears my stomach.
