Today is the day that I'm going to propose to my beautiful girlfriend, Annabeth Chase. All my thoughts are running ramped: what if she says no, what if, no don't think like that, I quickly open my laptop and search in engagement rings, and a whole bunch of them come up but my eyes fall on the perfect one. It's two bits of silver wrapped around each other and embedded in the silver were sea green gems. It was indeed perfect. I printed it out and rushed to the forges when I was stopped by Annabeth.
I saw Percy running to the forges and I called out to him.
"Why are you in such a rush?"
He stops dead in his tracks and turns slowly with a worried look on his face. That's odd.
He yells, "I can't talk right now babe."
Then he grins and runs of again, hes obviously up to no good. *sighs* Well that's normal percy for you.
That was close. I could tell she suspected something, I was in the middle of thinking when Leo Valdez popped up and said, "What can the Flaming Hot Fisizil Minishel do for you today?" Classic Leo. I pull out the photo of the ring and said, "Can you please make this for me, It's mine and Annabeth's anniversary soon." I say trying to keep my decision secret, sure he says and I walk out and yell, "Thanks Leo your the best!"
He yells back, "I know I am". Now I just have to tell Annabeth to meet me at the lake at 6:30 tonight.
I had just finished archery when I get a text from Percy to meet him at the lake tonight at 6:30. Wait, that's in 25 minutes. I rush to my cabin and pick my mullet dress that has blue sparkles at the breasts that fade to a grey with a sea green belt that matches and a plain silver necklace. I run to the lake as I went bare feet because I didn't want any sand in my nice shoes. When i get there a wall of water is standing a couple of meters above my head and when i walk closer the water collapses back into the river and there is Percy grinning like crazy. He walks up and kisses my hand and leads me to the table with a candle lit dinner. We are talking about all the good times we've had and I notice his hands are shaking before I can ask him why he gets up and walks around the table.
I'm about to ask Annabeth to marry. Me I'm actually going to do it! I get up and walk around the table to Annabeth who is watching me. I get down on one knee and grab the box out of my pocket and open it and say,
"Annabeth Chase will you marry me?"
"Yes, yes Percy!" I let out a sigh of relief.
