The Immortality Trials (On Hold)

Worst pick up line ever.

"Hey I lost my number, can I have yours?"

Even worse when you're a demigod and we don't own phones. I mean seriously how stupid can you get?

I was just sitting in a yellow hammock in the forest at camp when this boy came up to me, I don't even know his name. I didn't recognise him at all amd he asked me for my number.

I stood up and thocked him around the head. Hard. "You idiot!" I scream. I have no idea why I'm getting so worked up about but this guy is really getting on my nerves.

He stood up again with his hand massaging his head. "Girl, who taught you to punch?" He moans.

"My boyfriend." I spat out at him. He curled back and triped over a wrangled tree root falling onto the dead leaves on the ground.

"I'm sorry I didn't know you were taken." He whimpered and sheilded his face. "I'll just leave." He mumbled and ran off.

I retell the odd morning I had to Percy, my boyfriend. "He was just really random and weird." I conclude.

"Well I have no idea who he is and how he got into camp, but I hope he never comes back." Percy sighs.

Ever since the war Percy and I have been trying to stay out of trouble. Right now we are sitting on a soft cushy love seat in he newly built Wreck Room next door to the big house. The campers worked hard to make it all wanting to contribute. Now it looks amazing. It's spelt Wreck instead of Rec due to the fact that Demigods are very destructful people.

He puts his arm around me and brings me closer to him for a kiss. "What do you wanna do this weekend?" He asks me.

"Lets go to New Rome, I wanna see Reyna, Frank and Hazel." I reply with a small smile. We haven't got over there for a while.

"Ok." He replys snuggling into my neck.

"CAN ALL THE CAMPERS PLEASE MAKE THEIR WAY TO THE BIG HOUSE?" A loud voice rings through the intercom. I sigh and stand up with Percy. I grab his hand and together we make our way to the big house.

When we get to the big house we find Nico and Will and stand with them. There's a cold nip to the air and I shiver a little a grab Percy's jersey off him. Chiron clomps up onto the stage

"The gods have just Announced...." He starts.

"OH gods, here we go." I roll my eyes. "So much for a quiet summer.

"That they are in need of a 13th Olympian." He says and a loud wave of murmer runs through the room. I look to Percy bewildered. How on earth are they going to choose a new god?"

"Hush." Chrion calls for attention again. " They are calling them the Immortality Trials and there will be a winner." He explains. "Each god gets one entry." He tells us and people start to complain.

"What if we get chosen and don't want to do it?" Someone pipes up.

"The gods are comming to explain the rules, right about now." He says just as a light flash of colour erupts into the room and 12 immortals are now standing on the stage.

"Welcome to the Immortality Trials!" Zeus shouts "It all begins soon."
