Camp Legacy

--Life's POV--

I take a walk, and try to remember the dream. I was scared for my life. I know that. Then I woke up with people comforting me.

I don't notice where I'm walking, and run into a kid from a the Hermes Cabin.

"Hey. Watch it!" he shouts.

I roll my eyes, and step out of the way.

The conch horn sounds for lunch. I walk, and sit at a Legacy table. I look up at the front of the room is to see whatever the commotion is about.

There is a boy I don't recognize standing in the front of the room with Chiron.

"All hail Tomas Sallap. Son of Ares," he announces.

Some people cheer; some people just shrug, and move on. The leader of the Ares cabin, a boy named Tamryn, goes up to show him him around. That's where I stop paying attention, and get my food.

I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn around, and see it is Chiron.

"Life. I want you to show Tomas around," he commands.

I nod, and just leave my plate where I was in the line. Someone else can get that.

"Hello Tomas. I'm Life," I introduce putting my hand out for a shake.

His face cringes when he looks at me. It only happens for like a fourth of a second, but I saw it. "You can call me Tommy you know," he answers shaking my hand.

I notice he has a red strip of hair through his back hair. I wonder if that was a choice.

I show him the tower, and the archery range. We walk into the arena, and see Alexis ripping apart dummy after dummy. She spends all her time here letting out anger, and sadness.

"Hey Alexis," I say walking up making sure to keep my distance.

"Hi," she says not taking her focus off the dummy.

"Uhh. This is Tommy. He is new, and a son of Ares."

"Cool," she says stabbing, and flipping over a dummy.

I walk outta there taking Tommy with me.

"What is her problem?" he asks.

"Her parents disappeared, and are gone."

His face drains of color.

"Um. Where's my cabin?" he asks.

I walk him to his cabin, and say goodbye.

I hear the conch horn ring for dinner. I guess that took longer than I thought.

My friends surround me, and start talking about a quest or something like that. Alexis is the first one hear which is surprising. She never comes to eat until everyone is gone.

I look back at the Ares table. Sitting there at the edge is Tommy. He has the most beautiful eyes. He reminds me of someone, but I can't place him. He sees me staring, so I quickly turn around and take a bite out of my sandwich. Love stares at me with a huge grin on her face. I blush, and just eat.

Short but makes up for the 3 days I missed sorry I got sick hope you like it just introducing some new characters
