Camp Legacy

--Forest's POV--

I lean against the wall. It's five till, but it feels like it gonna last forever. Finally the bell goes off for lights out. Kolton had already notified Alexis, and Life to be at the spot already. We keep crawling through the vents for awhile. We get to the vent to door.

"Now or never " I say staring at Kolton.

He kicks the door out, and lights his palm up with a flame which makes me jump. I don't think I'll ever get used to it.

Alexis, and Life aren't here.

"Where are they?"Serg asks.

Kolton speaks into his ear piece.

"They got into a bit of trouble."

After that they appear outta nowhere. Life is all tuckered out, and it was obvious that Alexis was not gonna be able to shadow travel us all to Manhattan. We steal some bikes from the rack, and pedal our way to the weakest point of the fence.We have been scouting the fence since this plan came. We finally get to the weakest point with the weakest security. Kolton starts to melt it while Love flies over the fence with Alexis. Alexis draws a stygian Iron sword. And where was that when we needed it the most? They start to slash at the red-hot wire. Soon there is an entrance big enough for us to fit through.

It's a mile hike to the forest where we can get some rest, and possibly sleep. It was a short hike, but we were all nervous so it felt like hours when we finally sit down; we decide to take shifts, two at a time. Me, and Alexis go the first one.

"So what trouble did you get in that made you all tuckered out?" I ask her.

She replies, "Cal, Zinna, and Gary."

"Oh. They didn't see you shadow travel right?"

"No. We headed back to my room, so it would look like we were just going to hang out."

"Smart."

We talk about our pasts, and our parents. Mainly what to do though. We both know, as soon as they realize we are gone they will look for family members. Me, and Alexis agree it's time to trade off with the next group. I fall asleep.

I wake up to a faint laugh. We wake everyone up, and gather our makeshift weapons which are mainly just knifes we took from the kitchen, and hid out here.When I see who it is, I almost bust out laughing. There standing in front of me is Gary, Zinna, and Cal.

Tess stands up, and laughs, "Haha. Out numbered again. Don't you ever learn?"

Suddenly Gary seemed three sizes bigger, and his eyes morphed into one single eye. The others morph into different monsters too. The teachers show up from behind them all morphing into hideous creatures.

We do the only thing that we can; we all Grab onto Alexis, and Life.
