Camp Legacy
Chapter 9
--Forests POV--
My grandma, and I make tea with sandwiches while we wait for the others to get here.
My Grandma is so kind. I missed her so much when I was gone.
The others arrive. My grandma introduces herself to everyone even though she really doesn't have to talk.
"Hi. I'm Forest's Grandmother: Sally Jackson," she says.
All of my friends say their names aloud. Grandma hugs them all. When she hugs Alexis, it's kinda awkward because Alexis is just standing yheir like don't touch me.
We sit down in the living room. My grandma gives each of us a cup of tea, and a sandwich.
"I'm sure you all would like a hot shower and some new clothes," she says.
Love floats in the air at the hint of new clothes.
"You really need to stop doing that Love. Your gonna get caught by someone," Tess saysobliviously annoyed that Love really just care about the clothes.
There's a knock on the door. Grandma looks shocked to hear it.
"Come with me," she says. She lead us to a closet. She pulls a rug from the floor. It reveals a small trap door. She opens it. It leads to another room.
"Get in hurry," she demands.
We all rush in. She lowers the door back down on top of us. The room is bigger than it looks. We could navigate under the entire apartment if we wanted to. We hear her answer the door.
"Um Hello."
"Hello Mrs.Jackson," a deep male voice says.
"Yes."
"We are looking for your grand daughter."
"You sick SOB. My granddaughter is dead. Now get out of my house before I call the police."
That seemed to work for them because they walk off, and shut the door behind them. Soon grandma is opening the trap door, and letting us out.
"I got this installed when Forest was born. I kind of expected monsters to be attacking us, but anyhoo. Who wants a hot shower?"
We all raise our hands.
